Well, workout #5 - DONE DONE DONE!
I am getting stronger already - that much is for sure. I matched that crazy lady rep for rep today with the exception of 2 sets - the bicep curls (I use 8lb dumbbells for those) and those very last 4 are slowwwwww, so I missed one rep on each side. And the only other one was the last pushup. I was wiped out.
The places I consistantly get gassed in the workout: After the 2nd set of side crunches, when you're doing the last of the overhead stretches from side to side. I come out of the 2nd set of side crunches breathless every time. I really struggle through the last of the squat/side lifts too. Ugh.
Anyone else think the break between the first set of pushups and the 2nd set of @sscrampers isn't long enough?!! I could lounge there in childs pose for, Ohhh I dunno....forever! LOL
I'm finding that I'm working harder at contracting the muscles more already.
-Being sure to keep my weight in my heels during the plies and squeezing hard at the top.
-Being sure to really squeeze my biceps/triceps during all of the extensions - that sort of thing.
I guess I figure if I'm going to do it, I might just as well work everything as hard as I can while I'm doing it. LOL
Immediately after I finished Ramp It Up, I did Slim 'n Limber. It felt incredible!
Sammy Jammy worked through the first part of RIU with me, then came and did the yoga and Slim 'n Limber with me.
I love when she does that. She's so darn cute and she tries so hard! LOL
