    Way to go on reaching Goal Denise!!! Have you done a search on the net for exercises with baby? I once saw a woman on oprah that lost lbs and inches doing exercises holding her baby (ie crunches with him on her stomach etc), it was fun for both of them. I'm sure there are demos on the web you can try...

        Poor Sadie... all those sore muscles! But sooooo worth it!

        You too 2big... sorry to hear about your being leg sore.

        Keeping on at the usual doggie walk and exercise. Also doing a few more flights of stairs, carting fire wood up to where it should be. Great for exercise, not so great for my slipped discs...but am trying to be careful. It's one huge woodpile

          sadie you must have been on vacation when we did that in here. she has been working out with both the baby's and the older boy's bodies doing her resistance work outs.

            Thanks you guys, so much. I am not kidding, you have been CRUCIAL in these last few months. I wasn't actively shooting for these last few lbs, I really did/do believe that easing in to maintenance is a much better indicator that you have learned real eating habits that can last...and that's what I did!

            2big, Benji and I and Nicky and I definitely did our stuff, you're right. At least as much as we always have, and then the chasing now that Benji's walking, and the wrestling them off each other LOL. Benji really has buffed my arms, shoulders and chest, it's remarkable. I am so bummed summer's over because I look so hot in sleeveless!!!

            Thanks for the suggestion Sadie, I press 26# Benji out, lay down and press him up, lay down and lift him with my legs, and lift him straight above my head. I toss 32# Nicky, lay down and lift him with my legs, and hold him straight out and take him from left to right. My upper body is fantastic.

            Sally, you be careful. Slipped discs are nothing to fool with!

            Being at goal SHOULD help me stay on track. It's really a time thing. Something else always has to get shafted if I take the "me" time. And it catches up. So I need to get some household and marriage stuff addressed and rebalanced. A neverending process I'm sure. I DO feel so much more active in general, that should get me over the hump.

              the goal award looks fantastic in your siggy!!!

              i've been good, guys. biking every day and getting some flights in every other day. i've added a couple more ball and weight things. i asked jack for a heart monitor for christmas and/or pedometer. that wll help me help some others on the board i think. some of the new kids like starting challenges and it's hard, sometimes, for them to get people to join in. i also asked for a set of of dumbbells. i have some 6.6 and a set of 11 pounders but i need something in between. the lighter ones are getting just a bit to easy but the jump to 11 is too much. they are terribly expensive so i may go ahead and get those.
              jack is less than 90 flights from finishing his climb.

                I did my gym time and since it is raining yesterday and today I know I will be mowing tomorrow again. so muc for a fun day at the ballon festival today.

                  On my feet with kids Grocery shopping. Kids exercises. Benji's getting taller too, when I draw him back in now, I can't get him all the way to me if he puts his feet out, so he's kind of exercising his legs too, it's super cute.

                    well I did my HIIT yesterday and gym stuff today and I did the mowing both front and back this morning and now I've got a new bee sting too. I'm not sure what it is but the fricking bees are after my right knee. Got stugn there 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago glad I'm not allergic to bees. I got to go see if I can find some bee repellant cause insect repellent for the skiters didn't keep them away today.

                      i'm busy with stuff, guys. i'll be able to accomplish goal for the biking challenge and have managed to get in some flights. still adding a few ball/weight exercises.

                        Wow... everyone's super energetic these days!
                        Good for you Jimmie, always adding new stuff.
                        Good for you Denise getting in those workouts with Benji!
                        Good for you 2big with all the mowing. Sorry the bees have fallen in love with you though!

                        I'm doing my usual stuff and still hauling wood up the steps. Must've carried close to 100 buckets up now.... another couple of days should do it! Phew!

                          Did my HIIT today and I went to see the doc today cause the bee sting was itching like carzy and not responding to any OTC anti itching stuff. I hiked up my pant leg to show him the sting and he says i see it got you 3 times I look and the old stings are red and swollen today too showing him exactly waht I was saying about the size of the red area getting bigger each bite. YIKES so the doc says we will give you a shot of roids just in case and now I officially am allergic to bees or whatever it is that stung me.
                          now I can't mow for free exercise any more

                            Big bummer on the bee thing 2big! Did he insist you take the scrip for an epipen then? Before totally writing off the lawn work, you might want to change soaps and laundry soaps and see if they've been particularly attracted to those scents. You've probably already done that.

                            Lunctime power walk and super housekeeping and laundry count as my exercise for the last 3 days. Might get back to my boring DVD exercise tomorrow night. Am looking to borrow some new material Also the kids resistance exercise with the addition of Benji squats and about 15 minutes dancing with him in front of me.

                              everyone is busy busy just like sal stated! must be something in the air. has our new goalies been back in here to check in?

                              same same with me. i've got a few more miles to reach goal for the month. that was very hard to do and i sure missed doing the flights. i'll back off on the biking miles and even things out a bit.

                              ms. good to see you under the goal weight you set. it's been really great to see the goals met by you and the others. and your all maintaining! it's been a good summer!

                                Well i've been back to the gym and the muscle soreness is finally gone! I've been running at least 4x a week, min 20 mins (i try to do around 30) and i've picked up my speed a bit.

                                I'm feeling a bit thinner, not sure if i've got the nerve to measure or weigh yet..I get so discouraged when I feel thinner but dont see a change. I may just stick with measurments, and maybe try on a couple of my tighter pairs of jeans. Fitting into jeans that have been previously too tight seems to really do the trick for my ego LOL.
