    good for you guys. I take Sunday off as a free play day. I've been doing all my HIITing and my BFL lifting stuff along with the ball pushups
    If my knees whould do it I'd be joining the stairs challenge but they will not.

    LOL Sally you should have been here when we first got this software. some 4th weeker was complaining about being stalled and I was expalining about the post induction hesitiation in weight loss which some folk refer to as P I S S only I didn't use the spaceses and it put **** in my post. you should have seen how distracted all the rest of the repliers were. Brook even posted Did 2BIG just cuss?? Bren said she would edit the censor to allow P I S S since it stood for post in duction stall syndrone a misnomer for that hesitation period.

      i got 50 minutes of biking. did a "2big" by reading while biking!

          hey Jimmie it is only a 2BIG if you biked while reading as in you decided to get some free bike exercise time while reading

          man it is getting hard to find time to workout on nongym days as Mother doesn't sit through TV programs any more. She watched me workout today and kept saying no thatnk you when I offered her a turn.

              doing a copy and paste, hit and miss. i got things to do!

              arm work w/weights 50 each

                I added another 5 mins onto my run today..so i'm up to 35 mins..which is pretty good, a month ago i was only running 10-15! I'm going to try to sych myself up to maybe do a 5k this summer, and maybe the Terry Fox run (10k) in the fall. it's a big challenge, i really can't see myself running more than an hour..but hey you never know! I"m trying to concentrate more on my time than my distance at this point.

                I'm going to start my pilates again tomorrow...bathing suit weather is upon us..i need to tone my flabby abs!

                    Fantastic Sadie and Jimmie... you're really moving!

                    I've had two mornings of no workout. Got house guests and that puts everything out of kilter. Dogs are at another house, so not even a walk. Did get 8 flights in taking my guests round the Orvieto underground tunnles though. Getting late with DANDR reading too. Oh well... tomorrow is a new day. Can't wait to get back on track... my conscience is pricking!

                      good for you guys Sadie join the abs challange that will tone your flbby belly too.

                      Sally just tell the guest I do my exercing at _______ every day when you invite them :I went to the gym today anf had a great time playing with the weights. could of trainers walked by while I was doing my obiques situps and "suggested" I hold a plate in my lower hand while doing them to increase the resistance since I was doing them so well. Geez just when you get good at something they wamt to go and make it harder again.
                      Took mom swimming yesterday at the local spring fed outdoor pool cause it was so hot 90+ for the 3rd day. It is one of the largest in the nation with 100 meter, course 25 meter course, an island in the middle, and a grass beach, plus a 13 foot diving area. She didn't want to swim once we got there and so I took her home and set up the sprinklers to play in. Turns out she didn't see the 25 meter area and only saw the vasr expanse of pool and thoughtI was going to make her swim laps of the whole thing!

                        while i was reading those "plate sentences" i was thinking that guy did a "2ibg"! and then you said, just when you get good at something they go and add stuff. i thought that was halarious! it sounds like us around here! like when sal said she had company so things get a little difficult. what did you do? you suggested telling the visitors up front this is the time i exercise. the guy at the gym is just like you!!!!!

                          There is a difference between helping somebody who didn't workout caue campoany was an excuse to making a workout harder. the reason you add plates is to up the resistance and grow bigger stronger muscles.Sso Do I really want to hold a 25 pound weight in my hand after doing a whole workout to make my obliques "pop" more? nobody but me the folk in the locker room when I'm changing and my doc are ever going to see my abs. when i started using the Roman chair it was all I could do tho hold my 300+ pounds up in the air let a lone do 25 legs to chest lifts for my abs but cause i knew core muscle strength was inportant I did them. now I do 125 of them 3 times a week and they tell me hang some weights from your belt so you get a better workout/ hold a plate in your hand to increase the resistance. There is a huge difference between working out to stay fit and working out to get buff for a contest something Ihave no desire to do. more bigger tummy muscle mass will not shrink my loose skin, imporve my health any nor make me any happier so why do it? Can you just see your 6 pack becomeing a tall six pack?

                              2big that pool sounds awesome! I have a question about the roman chair..what exactly is that? I do leg/knee lifts on a piece of equipment that had padded rests for your forearms, then you suspend your legs and lift them. I do it once in a while but i really don't feel like it's doing much. is that the machine you are talking about? you can also do tricep dips on this contraption if you turn the other way (now there is something i could never do). I've seen guys doing tricip dips with weights attached to their belts..I think that would be torture! LOL


                              I went for a 35 min run today, did 20 mins of pilates and will do chest/back at the gym today. i'm considering taking a quick drive to the beach to play frisbee with the dog for 1/2 hour too. not huge exercise but i guess it's a bit of an arm workout.

                                That pool sounds wonderful 2big! Makes me wanna dive right in...

                                Real reason I didn't exercise for two days wasn't because I didn't feel I could with the guests... rather I was too totally bombed with moving to another house, taking all the stuff over, cleaning, cooking, driving them around to see the sights etc. etc. etc. Was a sort of exhausting visit to say the least! But that's why the old conscience was pricking!

                                Back to the routine tomorrow... Phew!
