4 miles in outside once again. The weather is turning back cold tonight. Next few runs will be back on the treadmill. Ran today at just under 11 minute miles at lower heart rate. Progressing toward the goal of sub 10 minute miles at low heart rate. Started at over 13 minute miles.

3 miles in 29:24. Ran outside. Tomorrow running a 10 miler. Only 3 weeks til the half marathon. Looking forward to it.

Got 12 miler in today. Was only going to do 10 miles, but the weather was nice and felt good. Plus, wanted to get a couple more miles and a longer long run in this week with only 2 weeks left to the half marathon.

6 miles in today outside. Felt good and wound up running around a 10:40s pace. Making good progress toward weight goal. That's really helping to get a little quicker.

4 miles in. Temps around 50 degrees. Very comfortable. Ran in the 10:40s minutes/mile. Starting to get a nagging ache in right hip. Will slow down for the next couple of runs and monitor closely.

Another 4 miles in. Ran half the run slow, then ran the second half with some bursts of "speed". Nice finish to my "during the week" miles. Next run is Saturday.

12 miles in today. Ran at real close to half marathon pace. Came in at 2:09. Don't know as though my outside goal of 2:15 is attainable. I am not going to dwell on it. I am going to be happy with the progress I've made toward my Chicago goals. I am better than half way to goal and have lowered most of my runs from over 12 minutes per mile to comfortably in the 10 minutes per mile pace.

Back at it today with a 4 miler. Nice and easy. Much warmer weather out, in the 70S. I'd like a few weeks in the 50s before Summer arrives already.

Weather for Sunday morning is temperature around 50 and chance of showers. I wouldn't mind a little cooler, but I'll take it.

3 miles in today at a "good pace". Averaged just over 9 minutes per mile. Feel real good going into the half marathon tomorrow.
