Ok, I will be starting tonite (really, I will!). Thank you VERY much for starting this challenge jimmie!
Here's what I take:
Total EFA (omega 3-6-9 w/ Borage, Fish and Flax Oils)
Vitamin D
Potassium (for red skin in the face and it really works, you'd think I'd remember at least that one)
Acidophilus
Calcium
Green Tea Extract

Gonna go load my pill box now!
Sillygirl! I have a problem with rosacea (spelling). Is that what you are taking the potassium for? I didn't realize this would be helpful for that problem. I will have to add that to my list.
Question -- what do you take the green tea extract for?

Took my morning set of vitamins. I'd type out what I take, but it's a long list. LOL I'll probably start my own thread of what I take, when, and why. I'll still report here, though!!
HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7 Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.
go ahead and start a reporting thread for the week, bio. we'll use this thread mostly for anyone wanting to join up.
in fact, it would be perfectly fine with me if you started a thread each monday for the week so we can keep each other accountable during the week. does that make sense?

I don't have rosacea, per se, just too many years in the sun and have tiny spider veins on chest/cheeks. Yes, Potassium (Vitamin K) really works for getting rid of the redness. A girl at Sephora told me about it! You should try it. Mine are 99 mg. Odd number of mg, but whatever, and this morning, the redness is already better!
The green tea I take for the anti-oxidants and supposedly it helps you lose weight. That part I don't believe for a second, but the anti oxidants part seems logical.
Thanks for that information, Sillygirl. I am definitely putting that on my list of Vitamins I need to purchase. It wouldn't hurt me to throw in that green tea extract, too.
I took my vitamins this morning! I have a long list too of the things I take. Sometime this weekend I hope to write them all down and share with everybody.

SG, that LA sun is HOT!!! When I visited your city, I used SPF 50, wore a hat, & STILL got sunburned!!! DH was the same way.
I used to live at the beach every day and use baby oil! You know when you're young you don't think about getting old and then WHAM, you're old and your skin proves you were a bad girl!
Took my sups this morning and at lunch, evening ones after dinner.
Am finishing up the last of the Atkins Basic 3. Seems they no longer make them, so I'll have to get hold of some of the Italian supplements that don't have iron. Took me forever to find those here! At least they'll be cheaper than having Atkins stuff couriered from the UK!!
Am in the same boat with the Omega 3 caps. Atkins no longer make them. So I've been taking a new one from my local chemist. However, I just saw yesterday that they also contain Omega 6... which doesn't thrill me at all. Our modern diet has us taking in a very lopsided ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3... like 15/1 instead of say the 3/1 our cavemen ancestors ate (not exact figures, can't remember those...but that sort of ratio). At those rates the Omega 6 messes with the Omega 3s which are much more important.
Pesky pills!!!!
