    Whoa! The sodium content (just checked) for the breakfast bowl is very high! I'm upping the water intake today.

      Day 6 (getting closer to OWL).

      Breakfast:
      -Hardees breakfast bowl (as much as I could eat)

      Lunch:
      -lettuce/spinach/cucumber/grape tomato salad
      -ranch dressing
      -Arby's Melt sandwich (sans the bun)

      Afternoon Snack:
      -tuna muffin
      -cheese snackable

      Dinner:
      -broccoli
      -porkchop

      Evening Snack:
      -3 slices bacon

      92 oz. of water down!! I'm so tired that I'm actually miserable. I will talk to everyone tomorrow. Good-night!!

        I had a great day today. No cheats...although I was tempted by others.

        Yes I did make the tuna but instead of muffins, I made patties. I deep fried them in oil and WHOOOOOA BABY they were good.

        Used
        1 can tuna
        1 egg
        1/4 cup of cheese
        about 6 pork skins (I ground them)
        Mixed all together and fried, so yummy. Thanks for the idea.

        I may be on here bright and early (if my son wakes me up) LOL IT'S MY WEIGH DAY!!
        I'm so excited. I'll share the news tomorrow.

          Scaleskl don't forget to keep us posted of your weigh-in. Tomorrow is my official one week weigh in. I'm going to try some pilates today. I so want to do cardio but I don't want the foot pain to return. Oh well, maybe after I lose a few pounds that will help and I can return to my Turbo Jam. I'm beginning to think I need to go see a specialist. My left toenail (same side I sprained the ankle 4 times on) was black for about 4 months. My regular TP said it was nothiing to worry about even though I had told her my foot keeps going numb on that side. Well, every so often I feel like my big toe has slid out of the socket (not to gross anyone out) and then it will hurt like you wouldn't believe. I have abnormal pain tolerance so when I go to the doc things are usually way out of hand at that point and they ask why I didn't come sooner. Enough rambling!!!

          To keep myself accountable with some form of non-threatening (LOL) exercise, I'll post everyday about my activities.

            purplecat, Pilates sounds great! Sorry about all of your anckle and toe troubles. Also, maybe try some chair exercises.
            Turbo Jam sounds fun..never heard of it. Is it a tape or a workout circuit.

            I have lost a total of 10 pounds. Yeah..I'd wished for more..but am happy with the results.

              Way to go scaleskl. I'm so happy for you. It may not seem like a lot but like they say...go to the grocery store and pick up a 10 lb. bag of potatoes and realize what you've done is a GREAT accomplishment.


              Today's report: no exercise (unless you count grocery shopping, washing clothes, and cooking my food for this week).

              Breakfast:
              -Bacon
              -Eggs

              Lunch:
              -Chicken patty (made of boiled shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, & mayo then fried)
              -Salad (lettuce, cucumbers, grape tomatoes)
              -Ranch Dressing

              Afternoon Snack:
              -1 oz. Pork Skins

              Dinner:
              -Cheeseburger
              -Broccoli
              -1/2 oz. Pork Skins

              92.5 oz. of water. Tomorrow is my one week weigh-in and measurements. I'll let you know my progress!

                Scaleskl, Turbo Jam is a form of kickboxing. It's similar to Taebo but I love, love, love TJ. The music is great! I almost want to cry thinking about it (because I can't do it right now but I will be able to do it again one day). You can get more info at www.turbojam.com. They even show a video of the TJ so you can get a glimpse of what it's like.

                  Thanks for the congrats.
                  You're absolutely right, a 10lb bag of potaotes is heavy and I would't want to carry them around all day.LOL

                  Yes...any form of movement is exercise. (grocery shopping, washing clothes, and cooking my food for this week)
                  Are you nervous about your weigh in tomorrow...or have you been weighing all along?
                  Either way, I will be waiting to hear the good news.

                    Scaleskl, I weighed all the way up to Thursday (scale addict). I haven't weighed since then. I weigh tomorrow. I'm so scared!! I just don't want to have gained weight. I think weighing daily sort of keeps me accountable to myself (or am I trying to make an excuse for my scale addiction? ).

                    I will try to post my weight tomorrow when I get to work (won't have time before I leave home).

                    *I, too, loved Taebo (mostly loved looking at Billy Blanks). LOL!!

                      Hey


                      I started the induction today, well i did start it last night with dinner and stuff but officially will start today

                      Have to do all my measurements shortly and will add them in

                      I am not going to use fitday atm, i am just going to go buy the book and use the food on the list and stick with that, and just eat more if i am hungry, got plenty of the vegies on the list and meat, cheese, eggs etc so will just see how i go with it

                      One question though, with drinks if they say 0 calories and carbs does that mean they are unlimited or should i be looking for other stuff on label?

                      best of luck to everyone else who is starting it up, hope it kicks off these few kilos that have to go now the warmer weather is here

                          Made a mistake this weekend.
                          I had ordered boneless chicken wings at chili's and I did not know they came in a breading.
                          I ate them and I had light beer this weekend.

                            I did pretty well today i think, but i did have one slice of bread because i just couldnt eat today at all so had to have something

                            I am still drinking coke though so will try to cut that out this week as i go, have cut right down but not all out yet

                              Here is a link to some great chair core exercises--with pictures! I could never figure out exactly how an exercise should be done, just reading text. We all know that exercise done wrong can cause more problems than it helps.
