I finished 80 minutes of exercise today! I didn't finish lifting weights until 8:30 p.m. Those 2-pound weights felt like lifting a ton. Tomorrow, I HAVE to start early and finish before dinner.
Way to go Sunny...you're getting started early!!

I had to start today so I could get in the Mon-Wed-Fri strength training. I need two days of rest, and I don't do anything on Sunday. Then, next week, I will be one session short, 'cause I have another one of those scary nerve blocks on Friday the 11th. They better do it right this time!

      Sunny!

Okay, it's almost noon and I've only completed my wimpy floor exercises (done on the bed, cause I can't get up off the floor after I get down) and that's exactly how I got so behind, yesterday. After I write my good morning to all of the Derby Girls, I promise to go do 15 minutes on the stepper!

I have my pork roast in the oven and I will eat up the last of my pickled greens before I have to go off all pickled stuff tomorrow. This will be worse than any induction 14 days, ever. I so love anything pickled and used to drink straight vinegar. I ate a lot of sf pickles, cheese and pickled greens yesterday in anticipation of being deprived of them for so long, and my weight was up half a pound this morning, even though I was well within my eating plan for the day!

BUT, I must get past this new yeast overgrowth caused by the after-surgery broad spectrum antibiotics. It's not as bad as it was last year, and that's a blessing. Last year, my tongue was so coated white that it looked like a white bear rug on my tongue. It broke off in chunks and made me gag. I'm not going to let it get that bad this year. I just spent a fortune to get my vitamins and supplements that have no disallowed stuff in them. Half of the stuff I already had has yeast, starch, dextrose, corn starch and maltodextrin and other nasties in them.

Okay--it's now past noon, so off I go to do the stepper!

                Sunny!

Yes ma'am! How did you know I was trying to worm my way out of doing my Walk Away the Pounds video, anyway?? It's too cold and windy outside to walk, so I gotta do it inside!

Where is that Cat, anyway??? She hasn't posted much personal for a few days! Think she got lost in that closet she's cleaning???

I'm glad I caught ya. It's cold here too....for us Californians. It's gotta be in the high 40's (47 around there). That is freezing to us. But I am going to brave it and go for a walk. LOL I also owe myself a massage and pedicure for meeting one of my mini goals. I think I'll get the pedicure today also.

I am also pledging a personal goal to loose 17lbs by April 1st. That gives me 91 days....starting from today, to meet this goal. Thats less than 1.5 lbs per week.

Awesome! You can do 17 pounds easy. In my first year, I was a member of eDiets. We had a challenge in the same time frame, Jan. 1 to April 1, and everyone else pledged 15 pounds and I pledged 26 pounds. I still weighed 248 pounds at that time, so I had a lot to lose. I about killed myself, but I made my goal plus three pounds! No one else lost even one pound! Most gained.

I start my anti-yeast diet tomorrow, and I am already feeling deprived. I did it before, but this time I am cutting out more things like coffee and green tea. I have put all my pickles, sf jams and cheese in a veggie drawer in the fridge so I can't see them. I might have to drill holes and put on a padlock! I think I will even cut out eggs this time. That's the only thing I have never tried cutting out. Lots of people are allergic to eggs and I have eaten them at least 830 days out of the last 838 days (that's how many days I've been on Atkins). I use close to 3 dozen per week. I know I have to do something to start feeling better...fast!

I better go update my journal. Good night all!

                            Sunny!

My lazy butt did 45 minutes of exercise today and I drank 144 ounces of water. I took my pictures and measured, but I didn't want to. I was very bloated today and it showed. I posted my exercise stats on the ADBB President's Challenge. I am going to join the 20/24 exercise challenge tomorrow, but it's not what I thought it was. It's just a one day thing--just 20 minutes straight in a row on January 9th. I'll have to depend on our challenge keeping me on the straight and narrow.
