Grats Lashon!!! You'll bust through on the scale in no time!

Cat--You and your daughter look gorgeous!

Sunny--Thank goodness you're okay, we got so worried about you! Try to think of it this way...the more you follow the doc's advice, the faster you get to work out without hurting yourself!

Kass--Grats on 175!! You are melting away!

Lisa--I hope everything works out with your daughter.

Welcome godsbeloved, this is a wonderful place to get support and I'm glad you've joined the Derby Girls!

I was supposed to have a session with my trainer today, but he postponed till tomorrow and I ended up just doing 2miles on the treadmill--1.7mi of that was straight running . My eating is still on track; I'll probably stay on Induction level carbs for a couple more days before going back to OWL Rung 1.

    Have a wonderful Friday ladies

I've slipped on my exercise but plan on getting back on track with that Monday. I'm consistant with my cheat free woe though. I have my minutes wrote down here somewhere for the challenge. Hello,

Cat thanks so much for the warm welcomes. I'm 29 years old, have fought with my weight since I was a young girl. I've always been chubby, but cute as many say. I want my adult life to be different. I want to be cute, healthy, and feel good in my skin. I love to wear cute clothing that fit, and I love to be active. Atkins once gave me those heart desires, and I know it will work again.

I've been married for 5 years and we are raising our twin nephews who are 6 years old. What a task ! We are trusting the Lord for a child of our own, in HIS timing. I feel that this WOL, is truly the doorway to me getting pregnant. I have read it many times here.

I plan to do more research this go round, so I truly understand whay this WOE works and how it works.

                    I'll be back later !

Hey there Lady, it's good to see you again and welcome to Derby Girls. This is a great thread and the ladies in here are nice. We support one another but do NOT enable each other to fail or give excuses for giving up. I think you will like it. We also use first names so please let us know yours. As far as getting pregnant, I will believe God with you. He has a set time for that baby or babies to come. Indeed He does.

                      Again, welcome.

Good evening Derby Girls! Again we had freezing rain and sleet with no SNOW like they promised. I was soooo bored today. I'm sure I did too much, but I didn't get my heart rate up. I did use my arms way too much and they are letting me know it. I baked and cooked pretty much all day. I worked on two cracker recipes to improve them a bit, made pumpkin muffins and baked a pumpkin pie with a ginger cookie crumb crust. The ginger cookies were not very good as a cookie (I didn't have enough ginger in them), but crushed up and used for crust, it was pretty good. I made ham salad, seafood salad and crab dip. Had to have something to try on the crackers!

I had a baked pork chop and fried cabbage for lunch. That sure was yummy. I'm out of cabbage, so I can't make that recipe Glenda shared, but I'm going to the store tomorrow. With having so much time on my hands, I am thinking up all kinds of stuff to make and my grocery list is a mile long. Better take the BIG check book with me.

I got three beautiful (small) chuck or shoulder roasts in a family pack on sale yesterday. I'm tired of doing the same old things with beef. Anybody got any ideas??? I usually do them like a pot roast with veggies or marinate them and roast them to medium rare, or make stew. I tried the Korean Marinade with chunks of beef instead of the meatballs, but I didn't like it. It had a lot of soy sauce, which made it too salty for me. I don't like the taste of salt at all.

Cat--that baby is so beautiful! So is her mommy. You both look beautiful in red. Her smile just warms my heart.

Godsbeloved--welcome! You have come to the right place! We are very close and keep each other motivated. It sounds as though God has already given you twin blessings in your life. He knew just who to give those precious babies to. Just keep in mind Jeremiah 29: 11 & 12 and Psalm 46:10. I am impatient and still have trouble with the "Be still and know that I am God!" We're behind you and beside you as you start Induction for the last time. Get your food ready, start on your set date (Sunday) and don't look back.

Lisa--did you take your little girl to the doctor??? What did you find out???

Sounds like everyone is doing well. I'd better take my meds and get to bed.

                        Sunny!

Never fear, sister Sherri: I am packing the goodies in my car and we will picnic in style by that waterfall close to your house! Then, we will head out to the coast. We can stop by JJ North's on the way. My oldest brother and his wife talk about that place all the time.

Somebody please tell me who Tasha is. I went back umpteen pages and couldn't find her.

Looks like we are going to have to send out a search party for some others!

Having strep sucks. Me and the little one have been sleeping off and on all day. We both have sore throats this time (unusual for us) and stomach pain (which is usual for us). Send up a prayer for us. I'm headed to bed (she's already sleeping),

                                Take care my DGs.
