I just sent a message to Jimmie to see if she's heard from Sunny. I do not like this. I need to know that she's okay.

The rest of you that are M.I.A. get your butts in here and at least say hi so we don't have to send the big guns after you.

Sunny's last post was on the 14th but she was last on the board on the 18th. Maybe she's reading and not posting. Gosh, I just wish I knew that she was ok. I'm going to PM her right now.

Here I am! For once, I am actually following doctor's orders and that means almost no time with my arms down, so I have had to stay off the computer for the most part. I was really sick from the antibiotics for a few days, but I finished them up on Sunday and am now okay tummy wise. I got the drains out on Monday and part of the incision had come open so he superglued it back together. No infection this time. I asked if I could start doing my recumbent stepper since the drains were out, but he said for at least 3 more weeks I can't do anything to get my heart rate or blood pressure up--so no exercise of any kind.

I am bored to tears, though. I have been working on my low carb cookbook and have been doing too much cooking, trying new recipes. I made some new crackers today and I was in so much pain, I could barely make it to my bed. Don't tell the doctor!

Last night I way over did it by staying up to phone in about 150 votes for the hometown boy that made it to the top 24 on American Idol.

I'm going to read back a few pages, but won't be able to catch up with everybody. I am still on track with my eating! Not one cheat!

                Sunny!

Like you all, I too am concerned about Ms. Sunny. In light of our concern and not being able to contact her to check up on her, I think we should perhaps exchange some type of contact info with each other since we are like extended family. I'm not saying give out addresses, but maybe a phone number to one person of your choice, everyone doesn't have to give it to the same person or a personal e-mail address. Like now with Ms. Sunny, if someone had her number we could just ask them to call or e-mail her and see how she is doing? What do you all think? Just a thought.

Awww I'm sorry I worried y'all! If you go to any of our profile page, you can send an e-mail--same place you send a PM. As for my e-mail addy--I have a throw away one that you can all use-- just take my user name at yahoo.com. By e-mail, I would even give you my 'real' e-mail address if you promise never to put it on an e-mail list going to people that I don't know. I always use BCC (blind carbon copy) so addresses don't end up in spamers hands.

And, you are STILL calling me Ms. Sunny! And, I'm still feeling like the old maid school teacher! Stop it!

                  Just plain Sunny!

GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU. Please forgive me, I have a habit of calling everyone Ms. from time to time. I will try to say Sunny but I feel I am being disrespectful to you, but at your request I will. Again, I am glad you are ok and please do what the doctor tells you so you can get totally healed. Have a good day and Congrats on "NO CHEATS"....that's very commendable!

Our Sunny is ok. Thank God!!

Tashiana and I have strep. Her temp this morning was 102. I gave her some Advil, rechecked the temp around 15 minutes later and it was 102.1. What's up with that? I'm getting ready to check her again. I feel like crud but since I'm in mommy mode, I'm not allowed to feel bad.

I'll catch up with you DGs later.

I believe that "Jump" is by Van Halen. Still a good song...

The concert was awesome. They sang new songs and old songs. I came to tears when they sang "Blaze of Glory." It just reminded me of my mom... She used to love the full door length poster of Jon Bon Jovi that I had on my bedroom door and loved that song.

Absolutely great time. Oh yeah, and my day was Atkins friendly .

You are right Jump was by Van Halen but I am glad you had a good time. Yes I have songs that remind me of my dearly departed mother too. I am definitely an 80's gal. I use to look at MTV all the time just waiting to see Michael Jackson. Pat Benatar is my girl too. I love her song "Love is a Battlefield".

I LOVE Jon Bon Jovi! I melt and drool when I see him sing! I so love "(You Want To) Make A Memory"--I have the video playing as I type this. I loved his hair in the old "Blaze of Glory" video. I missed seeing him in concert when I was living in Ft. Lauderdale. I had tickets, but had to stay at the office to do a real estate closing until after the concert was well under way. The woman demanded that we provide her with a translator, even though she had been speaking English the whole time we had been working with her up until the closing date! I never did forgive her for making me miss him in concert! I retaliated by making her and the translator listen to and translate every last word of the closing documents and mortgage! I read very slowly! Now I'm listening to "Blaze of Glory"--wish they still had the old video. He was prettier back then.

                                Sunny!
