I will handle it without sabotaging my dedication and hard work during these 33 days. Has this happened to anyone else when adding the extra carbs?
Yep, pinto beans. Just drink lots of water and flush it out. I'm sorry.

I finally tried ricotta, but hate the texture, so I don't have to worry about trying it again.
I can eat up to 3 oz. of nuts a day and still lose weight. I know, I know...I'm not supposed to eat that many nuts but when I'm out and about it is the better option (versus a Snickers candy bar). I skipped the dairy rung. I have too many allergies to dairy (already know). Why should I tempt fate? I can eat lentils okay. Pinto beans ... nope and I love them!! I can eat white potatoes and sweet potatoes (did on a daily basis for a little while) and still lose weight. I miss cereal so badly!! Tashiana was eatiing Doritos in the car on Wednesday and I made her breathe in my face just to smell the Doritos because I wanted them so bad. Ugh!!

Girl I love Doritos. DH and I eat them with cream cheese (or at least I used to). There is always a big bag in the house and I want to lick one sometimes. LOL Crazy...HUH?

        Thanks for the info!

The verdict is in...no matter what I do to anchovies, they are still disgusting, slimy, stinky, hairy-looking boned, salty fish!

Don't get me wrong, I love fish--salmon, tuna, tilapia, cod, red snapper, crappie, mahi mahi--but I cannot stand minnows in a can (sardines & anchovies).

I have been trying to add MUFA's to my diet as well as fatty fish. When I was reading stuffed olive (MUFA) recipes, most had anchovies. I had tried them once at least 20 years ago, and only remember extreme salty taste. I don't like salty.

Several weeks ago, I bought a can. It was not until yesterday that I got up the nerve to open them. They smelled horrible! I still managed to make myself touch them to stuff them in jumbo black olives and to make anchovy paste to mix with capers and cream cheese to stuff olives. I made up cream cheese and capers to put in the middle of a fillet to make a roll-up. I marinated some of the stuffed olives by a recipe in which you poured that stinky olive oil from the can in the red wine vinegar.

Today, I tasted them. Yuck! Worse than the taste, was trying to eat something with all those gross little hair-looking bones sticking out. Masked with capers and cream cheese, they were tolerable, but I won't be eating them again. I have another can, which will be used to make Caesar dressing and Green Goddess dressing, both which I find it hard to believe contain something so nasty, but still tastes so good.

Hope I didn't gross anybody out! I will be eating extra salmon, tilapia and tuna from now on. And, not farm raised from China.

            Sunny!

OK...so today has been a stressful day for me. Overwhelmed with work this weekend and I start back to my classes on Monday. I wanted a piece of Strawberry shortcake so bad...If I wasn't posting my cheat free days, I know I would have cheated.

Anyway, in lieu of the cake, I bought some crab, my other favorite thing to eat. I am cooking them now and will eat until I am happy....no just content!

I am feeling really good about my decision.

It's strange that I'm on the Atkins diet in that I have a true aversion to meat. When I cook it I almost gag....especially if I have to touch it. YUCK!!! I invested in some tongs that hold the heaviest pieces of meat so that I don't have to touch it anymore. Yay!! However, I can't eat the meat until the next day due to rememberance of what it looked like raw....which is why I cook everything in advance.

                      Once again people are M.I.A.
