    WAY TO GO KASS!

Just checking in this morning. I am very much under the weather. Went to the dr's yesterday and I have the virus that's going around. I just have to pump myself with juice etc and so I am up 5 pounds...I could spit!!! I am so discouraged. The cold keeps getting worse. So I am working on getting better!!!! wish me luck!

    Happy Friday!

Thank you ladies, I couldn't have done it without all of your support. I tell you, if I did not check in with you ladies often, I would have cheated long ago and continued to cheat. You are all so awesome!

        Hello Derby sisters,
Wishing all of you a nice evening! DD is doing well today. She's not experiencing any discomfort from her burn.
I've been noticing something different when I look in the mirror. My collar bone is becoming more distinct. So I measured my neck. I lost a 1/2 inch and now have a 14 inch neck. I'm really looking forward to weighing and measuring on the first.
I go and see the doctor next month. To get my thyroid levels checked and get A1c, lipids, and liver function checked. I'll let you know what I find out. I've been doing a few things differently since my last visit 12 weeks ago. No sweetners at all, No cheats. I've added more MUFAS and I added L-Carnitine into my supplements, along with a different Pro-Biotic. More exercise too. It's exciting to me to see how my blood chemistry will have changed.
Wishing everyone a great low carb weekend. Love you bunches!

          Congrats Kass! You're doing awesome.

Sunny, any more news on the shootings? Did they catch all the suspects?

Sherri, I got my labs back. My TSH is low and the T3 and T4 is high (hyperactive?). I go back in 7 weeks to check my labs. If they're still off, she'll send me to an endocrinologist. Did you also have a Vitamin D deficiency?

Sorry that I haven't been on today. I've been in a mini funk but I won't disappear this time. I promise!!

          Love all of you.

            Good morning Derby Girls!

The sun is shining today & melting the snow from yesterday. I'm on the lookout for more robins! No plans for the day thus far...that is always subject to change!

DD looked at an apartment yesterday & is going to rent it!!!!!! It is a nice big one bedroom located downtown. Great location & only a half mile to the hospital. She is very excited as am I. We are going to paint as the landlord (who I know very well) said she could & they would pay for the paint of course. I'm sure DD will want to go do some shopping today as she literally has nothing as far as dishes, furniture etc... We have a double bed & a television to give her. I love my daughter but I'll be glad to have my space & routine back again!

Have a wonderful day everyone & please nurture your inner self.

Oz! That's great! congrats to you and her!

I still have the flu but today is finally a day where I didn't wake up feeling WORSE but a tad better so I am going with it! Lol! I am just staying on Nyquil etc. I have been bad in terms of eating. The most sugary things I am putting in me are Tropicana and oatmeal but I have been having some rice. So sufficed to say I am not on plan and I am gaining. I just look awful!!! Anyways, I need a day or so just to get over this hump and I am back on! Ugh!

Yes, they caught all the little punks. You really should not drive an orange 1974 AMC Gremlin to do your shooting up of places that have surveillance cameras. They arrested a 19 year old and a 16 year old. The 19 year old has quite a history of crimes, which he has received a tiny slap on the wrist for committing. I suppose that he thinks that he has been arrested so many times and either nothing happens or very little happens, that he can do anything he likes and get away with it. His parents are already crying "our poor little boy" and the only one they feel bad about is the "innocent" man that was shot by the swat team when he pulled a hand gun on them when they were arresting their "poor little boy." Hallelujah! I am feeling MUCH better today! SO today is my first RE start day! I am up 6 pounds but I feel a lot of that is water weight! I feel awesome!!! I have ordered slim in 6 as well and I have 2 Jillian Michaels' books on its way. I am a big fan of teh Biggest Loser so I am happy to have some of her stuff on its way! Just really motivating.

I am not going to exercise for a few days with the exception of some walking. I don't want to push it since today's my first day of feeling better!

I had eggs and bacon this morning and tonight I'm having wings!!!

So....what happened in terms of these shootings? I live in Canada but that guy looks just gruesome!

Purplecat! that's freaky!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK HON!!!!! HE'LL GO AWAY!!!!

After DD gets moved I'm going to do a Clean Sweep in my house. The clutter contributes to depression. It is all so overwhelming but I'm finally ready to tackle it. I'm so upset with myself for allowing this mess to occur...nothing to do but take care of it!!

I can tell you once I started taking it, the fatigue and pain went away. I'll always take my Calcium w/ D everyday from now on. Do you see a difference in how you feel now?

Cat - I am so sorry you are having to deal with this, but I am even happier that you never met him in person. Thank you Jesus. Online dating can be fun and exciting but one of the major down sides to it is, you open yourself up to all kinds of maniacs. When I was on this one online dating site, I had SO MANY men on my block list until isn't wasn't funny. Just nuts and alot of the other ones I encountered were just BOYS playing GAMES for easy S-x with not committment and I wasn't having it. Hang in there my sister, our Father really does have a Chosen Gentleman just for YOU and for me. But like someone else suggested I would report him to eHarmony. Who knows who else he has done this to.
