okay, so i forgot how EASY induction is...you don't have to worry about calories!! get that fat content up!! curb that hunger!!

today i had bacon and eggs for breakfast, cauliflower with ranch/sour cream dip and crab meat for lunch, and roast beef and broccoli for dinner with some marinated mozzarella on the side. DELICIOUS!!!

I way over did veggies today. Got to curb that carb craving, and get the ketosis going. Will remedy that tomorrow.

I read about this in a different forum and started induction today without knowing y'all were doing this.

I'm in. Had a great day.

(2 saus egg mcmuffin, no muffin), 2 string cheese w/ some ham, 2 brat worst w/ mustard, serving ham w/ faux potatoes(califlower,w/ butter, cheese and dollop of sour cream.)

Higher fat content means less cravings. yay!

Yesterday was hard for me. I didn't do so good. But I am on track for today and my head is in the right place. (the biggest part of the battle for me!)

Re: Anyone going back to Induction 12/26???

My first day was good, I hope yours all were too! I got out of work early too, so I got to hit the gym before the after-work crowd gets there. I'm a little sore today in the legs and love handle area (I love how running gets the love handles too!) but I am feeling good. Another good note, 2 mornings ago I weighed 199.6, and today I weighed 197.8. I'm sure its not any fat loss so far, but I'm happy to see that not all the weight I put on is fat!

                So far so good!
I would rather struggle to do this, than struggle with the fact that I can't...

Re: Anyone going back to Induction 12/26???

I had a wonderful first day. I love induction for it's simplicity and good basic foods. It's a comfortable place for me so I do well there. Today may be a challenge just because I am so tired. I had only about 2 hours of sleep last night and today I have no chance for a break so I need to not look to food for my energy. LOL easier said then done! But I will be successful!

I'm glad we're all doing this together!!!!!!

Re: Anyone going back to Induction 12/26???

I'm so happy to see this thread!! I've tried re-induction 3 times already and haven't lasted the day. It seems to be tougher than I thought!! It doesn't help though when my last restart included my hubby bringing home sherbet, chips and dip!

So here I am +17 pounds and miserable. I can't fit properly into any of my clothes and that discourages me from wanting to go outside---a problem I have when I feel too large for my own good. If I don't get out, there is no exercise and my vicious cycle returns. I'm planning to restart my exercise challenges next month after focusing on a clean induction. It's tough but I'm glad that I'm not going it alone and the rest of you understand where I'm coming from--because the rest of my family is clueless!!!

Yes Jess this is the baby we prayed for! The one docs were trying to get her to abort because of the large amount of issues they expected her to have ....... multiple cysts on her brain, Hydrocephaly (excessive brain fluid), one enlarrged Kidney, misshapen skull...... But God healed every single issue she had and she is perfect!!!!! She had multiple U/S and an amnio confirming she was not going to be born with out lots of issues and then more U/S showing fluid gone and Cysts shrinking, normal head shape ect.......... the final tests about a month ago still showed 2 large cycsts (originally there was 17 they counted) and the enlarged Kidney was still an issue but we continued to pray and God continued his work in her. They had a whole field of docs on call expecting to be needed after she was born but her exam was perfect!!!!!! Apgar scores of 9 and 10! She will still have the pediactric neurosurgical testing to be sure all is well but we know it is and can't wait to get a full report that she is perfect .........! What a testament this little baby is allready with only her first breaths taken! God must have amazing plans for her life!!!!!!

Meena, it's time to take back your control! Empower yourself by getting all the garbage food OUT of your house. If you have to have it in your house for your family...find a way to "hide" it as much as possible on a separate shelf in the fridge/cabinets. Cook a bunch of food so that it is EASIER to get your Atkins appropriate food than it is to get the junk. That always seems to help me. If I've got chicken breast already cooked and cut into pieces and veggies already sliced...it's easier to grab that than it is to put a frozen pizze into the oven...ya know?

YOU CAN DO IT! Don't give up all the progress you've already made. You've come too far girlie!

Hi guys! I had a great first day! I'm feeling good today and the scale went down 1.4 lbs! It read 179.9 this am! ha! back in the 170's

Today will be challenging... we're going to some friends house... so need to bring legal snacks for me (cheese and veggies) and going to hang with the hubby for the day as well... look at new phones, movies... etc...

I feel great to have made it through yesterday. It was really hard to say no to all those carby goodies, but sooooo worth it! I was afraid I would feel really deprived not having my nuts or Atkins bars... but I was totally satisfied with my veggies, tuna, califlower casserole... I'm so relieved that I was able to DO IT! and stick to my resolve.

                            Have a good day everyone!

                                Hi Gang-

I didn't really start induction yesterday but I got ready for it. My plan was to make a few induction friendly dishes so I am prepared and to eat every 4 hours to control my cravings. I got my book out and will keep it handy for inspiration.

                                I will also weigh myself.....
