      Val..not sure how long it will knock him out of ketosis for. Good advice you gave him to drink lots of water to flush it out. Tell him not to let this derail him. Just get right back on Atkins. PREPARE for tomorrow. Bring more water than he thinks he will need. Hope you did well on your test! Hey...if you were a raincoat doing your Babyups...you might lose a bit more in sweat...LOL...I wonder if drool is absorbable?

      Bill...I was trying to think of something KEWL...like The Phoniex List. Since we are rising from the ashes and learning how to fly with our WOE. But I think it should just be Buddy List. I think something blunt like that will be less confusing for any newcomers.

      So tomorrow the new thread in the main forum will be Buddy List June 24-29 and I will leave a link here after I do it and we will start over there. After that whoever is on first thing Monday can start a new one. Let's keep talking here though until then.

        hey all, sorry for the late check in. today was weigh in day. i lost another lb, for a total of 10 lbs in 3 weeks. i feel pretty good about that. some people would be disappointed with that, but i know i'm gaining muscle, and so the weight on the scale is not gonna reflect that in a positive light.
        also i know i'm losing inches cause my clothes feel looser and that's all that really matters to me.

        today is the start of OWL for me, however i didn't add anything new today. i plan on making some sort of pumpkin dish for breakfast, i didn't try pumpkin during induction, so it will be a new veggie. will have it tomorrow and 2 other days this week and see how it effects me. i will probably only do one week per rung because i really want to get to the berries and melons before the summer is over. then may slow it down a bit and take a little longer to get to the other rungs.

        i worked late tonight, so took another day off from walking. i did a mini routine of my challenge exercises. since i met my goal, i don't feel so bad doing less. i would feel guilty not doing any at all, so i just toned it down a bit.

        well, gotta run. it's getting late, and want to look up some recipes to use for my pumpkin. good night and happy low carbing.

          Yah Monie...weigh to go! Excellent attitude! I didn't add anything new today either. But did you know that you are supposed to add another 5 carb grams of the acceptable veggies on those days??

              Val--Don't think Drool is on the Induction list! 1 soda shouldn't cause derail..but I would bring more than I need too.

                good morning everyone!!! just checking in before work. i made a pretty good pumpkin dish this morning from a recipe i found on here last night basically was the mock danish with pumpkin added, but the recipe varied a little bit. it was very good, however i think i should've added more cinnamon than i did.

                  Oh Bill ~ I would never smack you. I'm the passive, Buddhist type (I say this as I'm wailing away on my speed bag). I was just trying to help our new buddy feel at home here. You're person is safe with me!

                  Holy old sheep dip but my supplement pile is growing! I picked up the borage and flax oil yesterday to go with my fish oil. I think I'm going to opt for the all-in-one capsule next time. Oh ya, and a pomegranate capsule as well. I'm sorting out a plan for when to take all this stuff, since some of it I should take more than once. Everything I take is in the book (except specifically bee pollen, royal jelly, and pomegranate by name, although they contain the supplements he suggests). I'm really getting into it!

                  I guess the next time I come to post here we'll be in a new place. I love the phoenix visual of rising from the ashes. It's so symbolic and true.
