Minute steak with parmesan cheese (in place of crushed crackers like we always had and no gravy on top), 1 cup iceberg lettuce and 1 small fresh tomato w/1Tbsp hidden valley ranch dressing, 4oz "baked potato" cauliflower (Linda's).

I am on my own for a few days, so tonight I made an omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, peppers, bacon, salsa and sour cream and cheddar cheese. It was yummy.

I'll have a salad tonight. Red leaf lettuce, red peppers, tomatoes, feta cheese and smoked salmon, with olive oil and vinegar.

I am having exactly what you are having Georgiana! I had it planned out that way since yesterday! I'm back on campus and that's exactly what I packed in my briefcase. Yup, talk about 'chance.'

We got in late unexpectedly tonight so I put together a 'scratch' meal of ham slices spread with a smear of cream cheese and rolled up plus a large mushroom spread with a little cream cheese and a sweet red pepper stuffed with the rest of the 2 ounces of cream cheese left in the tub. Quick and tasty!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

okay trying something different. we got alot of tomatoes coming in and once so I need to use them up. I took some tomatoes, scooped out the inside (like stuffed peppers) dropped a whole raw egg into each tomatoe and topped it with a bit of cumin, salt, pepper and crumbled bacon and cheese. I'll let yall know how it tastes. I also have a great recipe for Shakshooka and Mousakka which I'll post on the board. My husband is Israeli and alot of Israeli food is low carb, and very tasty.

How do you prepare your brie for dessert? Do you put the cheese on anything like a vegetable? In the past we always ate our brie warm on some fresh baguette. Maybe with some sliced apple or pear. UMMMM Good! But not ATKINS friendly. .
                          Oops. Sorry I missed this.

I didn't prepare the Brie. I ate 1 oz of it... just like that. I guess it could be also warmed in the microwave for a few minutes. Maybe served with berries in OWL Rung 4 (just emphasizing this since we're in the Induction forum ). Or with sun-dried tomatoes for Induction. I guess you could also have it with veggie sticks (celery, cucumber, zucchini, pepper strips). I never tried it warm though...
