Re: ~*~ Back To Basics ~*~
I bought myself a scale this weekend. Up until now I've only been able to weigh at work. One week ago when I got "Back to the Basics" I weighed 190 pounds. On my new scale at home I weighed in at 185 this morning. 5 pound loss! Yeah!
However, when I got to work this morning, that scale said 183, so it's really a 7 pound loss! I think I'm going to start using the scale at home from here on out though - it has metal things on it that if you stand on it with damp feet it also measures your BMI and level of hydration. So I guess a week ago I probably would have weighed 192 on it - so I'll just use 185 as my current weight & switch to that scale.

But then again, back then I was 270 or so. Big difference ha.

While I have been eating a muffin in a minute daily for a few months now, in the past 2 days, I have almost been binging on ground flaxseed meal... in addition to the muffin, I have been making a couple of microwave cookies with the flax, too. I had a 1/2 cup of flax yesterday, and another 1/2 cup today. Luckily, I drank almost 100 ounces of water yesterday, so everything came out all right.
However, my stupid @ss has only had 32 ounces of water today!
So, it's not even really carb creep that's doing me in... I'm still not going over 50 carbs most days. It's just extremely poor choices in how I spend my carbs, and LOTS of calories.

*yawn*
That's what I lost on my re-start last year when I was at 187.
That's the hardest one, in my opinion.
