Heide actually carb creep happens to lots of ADBB memebers cause they didn't log and count all their carbs and to say we are processed food eaters or over eating is a diservice to us all. when they complain about a weight loss stall they log and then realize that salad they had for luch had way more carbs in it then they thought as did all the other fruits vegges and herb they used.
Many a shocked inductee has posted crying after having spaghetti squash for the frist time with store bought or homemade spaghetti sauce and then checking the carbs.
Maybe you are a sprinkler of herbs with a light delicate hand but those of us that pour it on get several carbs a meal just from spices and herbs. I took the time to use www.recipecal.com and calulate my homemade sugar free herb mixes and was still shocked at the carbs in them per tablespoon since a recipe for 4 said to add 2 tablespoons.
Betty runs a bazillion miles a week but has a very very low for all that exercise CCLM. those with CCLLs in the low 30s will need to count every carb to stay in their limits and not stall out their weight loss.
Yes use the herbs and spices but be accountabke for what you put in your mouth.
