    Elsie~ It does get pretty loud in my head especailly when I have a full fledged fight about eating something I know I shouldnt . Then that results in a "I am mad at the world today" mood. My husband always says " I have had a few gf's in my life and I know that women think weird at times but where the heck do you come up with the crap you do? Your odd!" But hey I dont care, I entertain myself. I used to tell Al all the time when we were first married "You have 3 months to have the marriage anulled after that you will have to pay!"

    Val~ There is nothing wrong with the bands (then) I just didnt realize how much the music sounded alike and sucked when I was 7-12..lol I still love Skid Row and Cinderella though.

      Yep...can see you now...naked...cherry pie in hand...Mandy Moore on one shoulder. Roseanne on the other shoulder....having a serious discussion on life and in walks DH.....ROFLMAO!

        OMG! ROFLMAO! When I read that, I lost it! I had tears running down my face. You are too funny! The sad thing is though, he would not think it odd of me. He would probaly smile and turn around and walk out. Oh Lordy-B that was good. I needed that. Thank you Elsie!

          Andie--I think those woman are hot too.."but you got me in trouble"..DW asked me to imagine those woman--then said, ok what are they wearing?
          ummm--well--you know--umm-- dresses? No Honey! Honest! i wouldn't looooove to have their body's too!

          Val-Glad I could help a bit..I read a lot of posts here..some are jumbled, confusing and desperate..(sometimes it's hard to put into words what your feeling) one thing i'm sure of is they are posting from the heart and soul and are reaching out and I'm going to reach right back!

          DD and roommates going to stay at a seperate house (was a Garage) detached from my house..pouring a cement floor-- now that pipes are done (underground) for the "powder room". They are all pitching in tho!
          painting there own rooms..looked in yesterday..one is Aqua, one is light pink, the other is light yellow--Can't say those basic colors tho--it's ocean mist and Serenity rose and honey blossem sunrise..geez.


          Thanks Elsie--everyone wants deep fried green beens tonight--opened fridge and there must be 10 pounds in there! pick up 2 Fryer's ok!

              Elsie, that is hilarious. How's everyone doing today? My run on the treadmill felt easier today (yay!) I also got my new body fat scale in yesterday and I have officially removed my weight loss ticker. My new goal is 20% body fat. I think I'm going to make some chicken wings today. Maybe I'll try the heroin wings.

                    Okay...I am back now...putting everyone's head on the right bodies. Momentary blood sugar dip I think...LOL! Probably from going through all those recipes!

                    Andie...get your clothes on...I think I hear your hubby coming!!

                    Bill...love the paint color names. Have fun with the remodelling. A never ending job here. I need to mud and paint in the living room. Maybe later....

                    Vanessa...good for you! It will get easier and easier everyday. Well...actually...if it is getting too easy that means you aren't working hard enough...you go girl!

                      Okay..if you are going to try the green beans...I am going too as soon as I buy a deep fryer...try this one as well...it sounds weird enough to taste good. Let me know if you try either of these or better yet post it in my induction recipe thread. Thanks!
                      IF YOU'VE NEVER TRIED FRIED PICKLES, dontttt get turned off by the name they are great!!

                      Oh geesh I just came up with these out of my own lil mind lol I was so thrilled because I have a tendency to crave fried pickles!! I do hope these are induction safe (I'm on the Induction phase) but if not.. live & learn but they were darn good!!

                      5-10 Hamburger Dill Pickles
                      parmesan cheese (in a small bowl)
                      one egg (in a small bowl)
                      ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping

                      I don't have a deep fryer but use vegetable oil in a pan and it works just fine. Dip the pickles into a stirred egg, flip for consistency. Take the pickle from the bowl and transfer quickly to the parmesan cheese flip and coat evenly. Repeat if desired. Then drop into the pan (or fryer) and let it do its work. Afterwards, after they have cooled down.. I used sour cream or ranch dressing with them.. they were GREAT!! I hope you enjoy!!

                        Just popping my head in here to see how you are all doing and had to say that I am proud of how all you Buddies are supporting and helping each other on your Atkins journeys

                        And as for soy flour which someone a page back was wondering about -it is not 'legal' till the legumes rung of OWL if you do want to use it, and it does impart a distinctive taste to recipes - so dont do what I did and buy a large packet unless you have tried it first to see if you like it

                        You would reach the nuts/seeds rung anyway first, so try using ground almonds in baking when you get there.

                            Hey...Monie...how is the dairy rung going for you?

                            I had some Ricotta cheese today with a bit of whipping cream and a pinch of splenda. Can get you the recipe if you want. Anyway...tasted a bit like tirimisu. I used to love crummy cake with ice cream...so sort of like that. Dairy rung is gooooood! Never had Ricotta before. It is good to experiment.

                            Sorry buddies...not induction friendly. Val...BF might like it though...
