    Re: Buddy List August 4-10

Hey girl, 'doughtnut' is the same one as I posted a link to in my Introduction. Made with eggs, splenda, cream of tartar, etc. Its induction friendly.

Don't like mayo plain... Can't use splenda to make it taste like Miracle Whip as I'm only allowed 3/day and I used some in my 'doughnut'... Already had lunch, the turkey was nasty. I hate turkey, LOL. But it's all we had since the honey ham is a no-go. I have a hamburger for snack at 3 though. yumm. I LOVE hamburgers, lol. Also will be making deviled eggs, oopsie rolls, and cooking up a ham or more chili tonight for lunches.

Whats BMR stand for? Thank you!

    And is Cottage Cheese okay?

I'm going to go punch everything into fitday. brb... lol ???CANT FIND PLAIN HAMBURGER ??? How much is carb count on a hamburger w/worsetchire sauce in it prepared on George Foreman Grill

Oh & digital scale I meant one for weighing food not me lol
So I won't hesitate no more, no more
    It cannot wait I'm sure

      BMR=Basal Metabolic Rate

No to cottage cheese. There is a stickie in the main forum that you can print out for your wallet that has all the induction food on it.

      Try looking for beef instead.

      LOL...on the digital...good idea...buy it!

I don't understand what beef option I would choose.

Going to print out the stickie now. Thanks for the tip.

This fitday thing seems really off?

Egg, scrambled, made from dry eggs
          CALROIES 459
          FAT 41G ???
          CARB 2G???
          PROTEIN 20G??

Why no choc. glaze? I replaced the chocolate bars with cocoa which is a spice. 2 tsbp!

              Thanks hun.

It still seems so off on what I've ate/am eating for the day, over 2,000 calories? Meat must have A TON of calories, dang..and eggs? 459 calories in about 1 c. scrambled -- is that, can that, be right?

Wow...better to use real eggs. 1 cup scrambled real eggs is supposed to be 365 but more carbs at 5 instead of 2 for the dried. Mind you if you have 2 extra large eggs and scramble those you have only 179 cal and 1 carb. A much better way to eat them. .25 pound hamburger patty is 221 cal.

*gets up and applauds for Sassy!* Way to go!

I have been an avid migraine sufferer since I was 8 years old..they come and go..I will have spurts of migraines all in a row or go without one for months. When I was first talking to my DH before we were even dating I had a migraine for a whole month..I just couldn't get out of the migraine cycle until a neurologist put me on a series of medications. Mostly my migraines right now deal with my cycle (sorry to the guys on here!) or stress. I haven't really been stressed out that much..I work in a retail pharmacy, where's the stress, right? I think it's also due to my caffeine addiction. DH and I are planning to go off caffeine here right quick--I even bought some Diet Rite sodas!

So here I am at Day 13 and I lost 7 pounds ...it's a HUGE deal with me because of the past attempts to lose weight. About a month back I was stepping on the scale and seeing 182 to 184 ...I was really saddened by that because right before my wedding (in March) I got down to 171. A lot of things happened during the week of the wedding and right after that made me just give up on dieting. I happily got down to 177 (my starting weight) and that took a long time. And to see the 7 pounds go bye-bye in 13 days was impressive!

Thanks for all the support from you guys!

Robin...way to go on the 7 pounds!! Great attitude!
