    Sassy...great to hear you posting again! Hope the visit with the kid is going well! Am so glad to hear about the inches moving!!! That is exciting. Also congrats in fitting into all the jeans..what a great feeling, huh? 20 inches in 4 weeks...FABULOUS!!!

    Sugar...you are welcome...that is what makes this buddy list so great...the encouragement given to everyone.

    Carmella...LOL, on dancing with DH...good job on keeping the romance alive!! Looking forward to meeting DH.

            The good news: I'm down 5.5 lbs for the week!

            The bad news: okay, there really is no bad new here, but if I had just lost 0.1 lbs more I could cross off minigoal #2 - oh well, next week for sure!

              hey everyone, it's been a couple days since i've posted on here. i hope everyone is doing great. i'm doing pretty good...been getting a little lazy keeping my fitday food log going the last week though. i'm gonna have to start getting back in the groove this week. i think i'm gonna have to start really getting back to the basics a little on the diet. i seem to have let my success so far cause me to get a little complacent. i haven't been cheating so to speak, but not sure if i'm hitting my numbers as far as my food intake goes since i haven't been as diligent entering my foods. i may be going over, or not quite enough.

              earlier this week, DH won some tickets on ebay to a rock concert at an outdoor venue in cincinnati. (80's hair bands-love those 80's bands from my youth) the concert was last night, and i have to tell you i had an absolute blast. it was one of the best concerts i've ever seen(and we've seen alot over the years) originally i had skipped the alcohol rung as i really am not a drinker(only socially & occasionally) however, last night i indulged in some alcoholic beverages. most definately went over what one would drink just introducing them back into their diet. i'm sure there was some pretty high sugar carbs in them also as they were "fruity" drinks as well. so not wanting to sound cocky, and maybe i should feel a little guilty, but i really don't, as i don't let myself go that often. i did however, want to be honest with the group and fess up about the alcohol. i know that my body will burn off the alcohol first and that i won't be burning fat until i get back into ketosis. not really worried about that, just gonna stay off the scales for another week.

              this group is the one thing that makes me want to keep going as it is so much a motivator and so very supportive. last night may be considered a cheat or a slip up or whatever by some people.....but know that it's not an everyday thing. the great thing is that i can come here and feel like i can be honest about it.

              well DH and i are thinking about going for a bike ride, so i better start getting ready. hope everyone is having a great weekend, will check in again soon.

                Mike...your cheat free days are really paying off!!! Weigh to go!!! Can't wait to celebrate your mini goal as well. Keep up the great work!

                Monie...no tough love here. You know what you are doing. Drink your water and right back on plan and be prepared for some slow weight loss. Keep strong!!! Glad you had a great time!!

                  I am back to track. I received a half of a nutty date cake yesterday. I got one piece and when I try get the second piece my consciousness knocked. The very next second it was in the bin. I was so scared I will try to get a piece from the bin and I went and pored all the left over meals on top it. hehee.
                  I had my water and the one hour work out.

                      Okay....so some may be wondering why I haven't started the new thread. I decided not to start one this week. The purpose of the buddy list was for a highly interactive list. I feel like it is no longer that. And that is okay...life is busy..mine included. And things change. It is all good! But I do want us to still stay updated with each other and have a place to go so lets keep posting here so we can stay updated with each other for as long as we can.

                      If you wish to start your own buddy list please know that I will, in no way, be offended so go ahead.

                      I still plan on being here and supporting you all on this thread for as long as you post. Without this thread I probably would have fallen off this WOE long ago. So I thank each and every one of you...new buddies and my special buddies as well.

                        Elsie! So glad to be back!!

                        Not sure of my results but will find out tommorow after the 14th day is officially complete! I've stayed on track with eating however it's been inconsistent as far as Saturday not eating until WAY late and no lunch or snacks in between due to the move... but I have made sure to eat induction-only of course; just not enough veggies. I don't feel I have lost that much weight so I will probably need a big dose of encouramenet to stay on track tommorow. I can do it for another 2 weeks easily until at least Sept. 5th.

                        Last night my roomies were *already* on the porch drinking. I know my bestie is just trying to be considerate, but for the love of god! Stop offering me pizza, daquaris, etc. A diet is a diet, and you should know by now I'm VERY strong willed. So, I decided to go spend the night at my mom's house -- nothing I wanted to accomplish (house rules, etc) were going to get done if they were too busy drinking. Kind of really bummed about that, but today's a new day right.

                        Tonight I need to buy some cucumber and green beans, maybe some peas too. On Tuesday night when I go back by my mom I'm going to have a bunch of meals to bring back with me and also I'm going to take her frozen cauliflower so I can attempt a pizza crust lol.

                        I actually think it will be easier to just have one buddy list that is ongoing! So I'm here to stay for a while, even if it is only you and I Elsie. LOL.

                                Gotcha! Smarty pants.

                                Any suggestions on what I should do for lunch today? It's in 1/2 hour and I have nothing! Would the meatballs, cheese, and lettuce from Subway be okay...? I can't find any ingredients listed online, so I'm assuming not, but just thought I'd throw it out there. I just need something, anything, induction friendly for lunch, hehe.
