Re: Dandr ~ Our Summer Reading Program
same here, chrisy. i started out walking with a friend around the sub division. i was right there huffing and pugging just like you. it wasn't long before i could go farther and faster. the girl i was walking with wanted to get our pace but walk longer. i wanted to step it up a bit and walk less. we had gotten up to 1 1/2 hours and it was really cutting into my time back then. we parted ways and she did her thing and i did mine. i had an old exercies bike that was a pain to use but i continued on with that until jack rewarded my efforts with a brand new stationary bike. i have been using it ever since! barbiebabe pestered the heck out of me to join the 6 WEC. that was one of the smartest things i have ever done. now i find myself trying to create challenges for the members, expecially for those that might have 100 + pounds to lose, like the stair climbing challenge.
we both are examples of how our minds and bodies have done a complete 180! congrats on you journey thus far!
