    I call these 'word hugs'. It feels good to get them and even better to give them out! I wish I had time to give them out all day every day to everyone here, cause every member deserves to be encouraged for what they've accomplished and have all their concerns addressed.

      DAY 7 Tuesday
      We Will Succeed

      1. Examine your journal entries. Tell what changes in attitudes, feelings, etc. you may have had over the course of the past 7 or 8 days. Tell how this WOE and the feeling of BEING WORTH IT, will help you take control of stay on track. Tell of any insights or AH HA! moments you might have had during the time of this challenge.

      I think the biggest change within myself this past week is that I'm more aware of the ways in which this WOL has made me a better/healthier person. I got out of my comfort zone for this challenge and really thought about how I'm a more positive and happy person since starting Atkins. This WOE is truly a gift to myself and in that way, I let myself know that I was worth it, that I am worth being healthy and happy. The feeling of worth that I get from this WOE helps me stay on track because getting off track would be cheating myself. I'm better than that. This sounds silly but my big AH HA moment during this challenge was simply realizing that I'm a success. I've come a long way and I don't always look at it from that point of view. I often look at my goal and see how far I am away from it rather than how far I've come. I think it's important to realize that success is not just in reaching goal but also in traveling toward it and enduring.

      2. What positive changes are you looking forward to as you continue to make your journey doing Atkins?

      This is a hard one, I've made so many positive changes already. I suppose I'm looking forward to being a lifetime member. I truely see this WOE as a WOL. Contentment is also a good one. I'd like to be content with my body. I'd like to accept it for what it is, with all it's flaws and be satisfied knowing that there will always be little flaws.

                  I realized that many of us have the same general goals and aspirations for ourselves. We are all working toward a greater good for ourselves, our bodies and our health. I now know that I am worth the effort, I am worth the time and I am well worth the energy to stay with this WOE.

                  2. What positive changes are you looking forward to as you continue to make your journey doing Atkins?

                  I want to be able to include myself in family photos! I want to instill in my children proper nutrition and how to moderate their diet so they never have to deal with obesity as I have. And of course, the feeling of being thin again!

                  As with the assignments use your journal and use this thread to post your answers. See, the journaling had a purpose.

                        Yeah, me too, I want to say thanks to people for picking me as a positive voice. I am just floored reading "MY OWN WORDS"...I can remember so many of those thoughts and statements....
                        I too have been deeply influenced....
                        Jimmie Jo, for picking me to be a hostess and being a consistent example on this site. You model committment so beautifully.
