    20/24 CHALLENGE #3
    A SEMI-ANNUAL CHALLENGE

    This challenge is for any member of the ADBB but
    specifically targeting those who are not involved in any challenge or
    are not doing any exercise.



    Here's how the challenge works:
    1. Sign up in this thread
    2. Commit to doing no less than 20 minutes of exercise in one 24 hour period (challenge date is posted below)
    3. Tell us what exericse you're going to do
    4. Live up to your commitment
    5. Post your achievement when you've finished your 20 minutes.
    6. Earn the award
    Sign up
    January 2 thru January 8
    Challenge Day
    January 9, 2008
    During the day of the challenge, do
    20 SOLID MINUTES
    of exercise.

    Don't stop for a break, don't answer the phone, don't take a nap and
    no, you can't do 10 minutes, take a rest and do 10 more minutes.
    We want a solid 20 minutes of movement!

    Awards will be handed out on
    January 11, 2008
    to those who did steps 1 thru 5, above.

    Suggestions for exercise would be but not llimited to:
    • walk
    • jog
    • swim
    • bike
    • stability ball exercise
    • yoga
    • pilates
    • weight training
    • DVD workouts
    • Slim in 6
    • treadmill
    This is possibly the easiest award to earn on this board.
    20 minutes in 24 hours..... now who couldn't do that?

    While you're contemplating, take time to look through the challenges provided
    by and hosted by other members of the ADBB. Perhaps, after you've gotten
    your feet wet (with sweat ) you'll decide to join one!!!

    i am of course doing this and i think i'll do 20 minutes of stab. ball but i'll work out with the advanced part of my dvd that i've never done.

      I will accept this challenge! I will do 20 minutes of jogging...yep you heard me correctly...I will get my fat butt up and jog for 20 minutes. Since I have been walking a mile everyday for the past 2 weeks, I'm pretty sure this is something that I can do!!

        I'm in for this one!! I just started back on 12/29 and this is a great way for me to get back to excercising since I haven't been!

                I'm in. I'll do strength training, lifting weights, actually for 30 minutes.

                    I'm in for this - I will do 20 minutes on the elliptical machine at the gym (or another cardio machine if it stays packed the way it has been!)

                        I'll be doing a power walk with some people on campus that day during the lunch hour.
