    Tuesday March 30, I did not weigh.
    Have been living on automatic pilot the past 5 days. Today we got the bad results of my mom, breast cancer. 5 years after I had it. Fortunately it is really really small (4mm). There is a very big chance that she does not need chemo, just an operation and radiation. I actually feel very relieved about that, because the chemo is very hard to bear for 4.5 months.
    One remarkable thing.... When I heard the news last Friday, my first thought was that no matter what happens I will stay on Atkins. I used to comfort myself in such a situation with binging bad snacks and other trash, but that feeling is simply gone. Its amazing. Last Sunday we had some kind of late birthday party at my mothers and I didn't care for the many snacks on the table. I just brought my own food. I never go anywhere without at least 3 food boxes with meat, salad, egg etc. (everything with mayonnaise of course)

    Mini goals:
    - 92kg = 202.86 lbs: will get very nice shirt from my DH:

    - 87.7kg not obese anymore:

    - 79.2kg not on the heavy side anymore:

    - 73.4kg not lightly overweight anymore:


    Currently:
    -Climbing the Scafell Pike in England, 6180 steps.
    Done: 867 steps
    -President's challenge

      it's my mantra these days. i think i'm gonna have a t-shirt made that says exactly that. please let your mom know i'm thinking of her today.

                        1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                        what the rungs mean to me:
                        rung 1 - more veggies
                        rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                        rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                        rung 4 - berries, melon
                        rung 5 - wine -
                        rung 6 - beans, hummus
                        rung 7 - other fruits
                        rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                        rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                        Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                        (on to pre-maintenance)
