Hi everyone! So happy to see all the positive scale and non-scale-victories.

When the scale is not moving we can't get discouraged. We have to think of those non-scale victories too. Right? The scale is not moving for me right now and I don't know why. I am still 207.5. I am trying not to get down about it and stay positive. I had a non-scale victory yesterday. Last night at my women's Bible Study I stayed away from the baked goodies at the snack table and just drank my water. I felt good and in control. I thought surely I would be rewarded with a loss this morning, but it did not happen. I am going to add more veggies into my diet this week and stay off the 2 measured tablespoons of natural peanut butter I have been having for a snack. I also am getting back on the exercise bandwagon too. I just went to a Body Pump class at Gold's Gym and oh my goodness.....................I am gonna be sore. I am sure I burned a lot of calories as it really kicked my butt!! Hopefully it will help with this horrible underarm flabby bat wings I have developed. Lots of weight lifting in that class.

A big obstacle for me will be tomorrow at work. At staff meeting tomorrow they are bringing in ice cream and cake to celebrate my birthday. My birthday was last month, but they forgot it and are celebrating it tomorrow. These people know I am on a diet.....................ahhhhhhhhhh. Cake and ice cream are the devil. How do I turn it down without seeming rude and ungrateful. Help!!!

Cruisergal! I am so happy for you reaching onederland. Way to Go! I am proud of you!

              Oh man.. 88 days..

Think I am going to fall short, but thats okay.

Have hit what must be a set point.

And... would like to share my newest fave recipe with yall...

Chicken, rolled around a slice of ham, a slice of provolone and a green chili. Baked, of course. MMMMMM...

Swam yesterday, am stepping WAYYYYY OUT of my comfort zone and doing a group exercise class with my SIL tonight. We live in Vegas, and our club is by the strip. It is, as many folks have shared with me, the one that all the strippers and dancers go to. THAT explains ALL those picture perfect ladies in there exercising with makeup and hair perfect... But doesnt do a whole lot for the confidence factor. THe second largest group of users is extremely OLD people. SIGH. Between the dancers and the old people, at least I know I am not drawing much attention!!! LOL.

Off to plug into fit day and make sure my numbers are going to be good for the day!

Hey Elsie150, just noticed your chart is wrong. I weigh 199.5, not 299.5. I'm sure I didn't gain 100 lbs!

I don't want to post because I feel like I'm spoiling the thread. I'm up to 190 this week. It was 193 yesterday, which was a 6.5 pound gain over the weekend! I've lost 3 of that, so I'm still up 3.5 (4.5 total from last week.)

Effie: I think this is one of the most valuable parts of this challange, the fact that you have to be accountable to someone other than yourself. You'll be fine, as long as you identify the problem and take measures to fix it. Of course if it was "that time of the month" for you, that is another story.

Keep your chin up and give it everything you've got, we're just here for support, but you're the one whose got to live with yourself, know what I mean? Do it for you because you're worth it!
