    Hello all! Sorry I haven't checked in recently- I am still low carbin it! Way to go on the long runs sarah! Yoly I hope you feel better really soon! You have to do what you gotta do to keep yourself healthy- avoid sugars as much as possible but as to the nyquil- take it if it will make you feel better!!!! doesn't nyquil have gel caps? maybe those would do the trick without the syrup... anywho- I hope you feel better! speedy- thats great news about your bp! Atkins is good for many things! lol I am hungry- cooking something in the oven as we speak...

    provolone and mozzarella cheeses with diced tomatoes, diced eggplant, spinach, canadian bacon, seems like there was something else but I can t remember... anyway, baking it till the top cheese is browned some I hope it is delicous! Hope you all are doing great today!!!!!! Water- I will drink more today I have only had one glass so far!!!! Gotta exercise today too!

      i think this is ok but i had to post.

      after i eat something and im not sure if im completely satisfied, i drink about....hmm....3 gulps full of 7up w\ splenda. and that does it. im not AT ALL a pop drinker but i buy it because i make popsicles for when i have sugar cravings. but this is ok right? nothing wrong in it except the splenda, but we're aloud to have a certain amount of that a day.

      any input? thanks guys!

        HEY girl the pop is all right don't worry about it. I drink pop you know I like it a lot probably have 1 can per day and then some days non. It doesn't bother me and in the Atkins Book it says sugar free pop beverages. The only reason people get so freaked about the pop is it does tend to stall some. It doesn't stall me so I am happy to indulge I like pop maybe it's the fizz I always get the caffeine free stuff though.

        Hey Rikki glad you are here now get your but exercising my mouth is salivating at the thought of you meal oh, my GOD nummy that sounds sooooo good. ANd I just gotta say Canadian Bacon is the best comming from canada I know. MMMMMMMM good. LOVE it.

          it was yummy!!! I also had put green peppers, italian seasonings, garlic, and some pepper in it... YUM! I have some leftover so I will probably have it as a snack later. I have been using those little pyrex dished to back stuff in that way I can do 1-2 servings instead of a huge pan of stuff!

            oh yeah, I nabbed the ices thingy you made! You did a good job!

            Speedy- I drink diet soda a lot, I don't think it stalls me as long as I drink plenty of water too- a lot of diet soda has lots of sodium in it

                  I just used my Print Shop enemble II it has a thing in there so you can convert it to a JPEG so that we could use it for our siggie cool hey

                        Hello all- I just got back from the park! Whoohooo I walked/jogged for about 3 miles. Mostly walking but I did jog some! I took my poor dog that doesn't get to go anywhere becasue he is afraid of everything(he was a rescue from a bad environment) anywho- any time he saw anyone he laid down in the grass and wouldn't move. Which is fine for about 7/8ths of the park because they have a long walking train and it wasn't busy today we probably only stopped to let 4 groups of people by, but then you have to walk a bit on the main road by there and there were some kids with their parents playing and i swear I about had to drag him back to the car!!!! and it was kinda embarassing because I don't want anyone to think the dog is so scared becuase of me!!! but he just hunkered down like he wasn't going anywhere!!! but anywhoo0 we had a blast and he was great to run with, kept up most of the time!!! lol now whats for dinner- first a shower and another load of laundry in to wash I will think about it while I am doing those things I guess!!! Hope everyone is having a great night!!!!

                          Excellent Job Rikki you should be so Proud your poor dog being so scared like that it's horrible I feel for the poor puppy who knows what he went through. You are a real saint for taking him in that's totally awesome and he will thank you in more ways then you know.

                            Hellloooooo alll, I'm baaaackk. LOL, I feel better, not 100% yet but definatly better. I still have a bit of a stomach ache and a low grade fever but it is controlled with medicine. I am really stiff and I want to do a bit of excercise tonite to losen me up, I am going to do my WATP tape, maybe i'll just do 1.5 miles tonite but at least it's something. It feels like forever since I've moved.

                            I think I've lost weight which would totally surprise me because I have been completly inactive for a while now, but I WAS throwing up for a few days so that could explain it. I am going to start my first day of induction tomorrow, I am a bit behind on the challenge because of the illness so all of my goals I am starting up tomorrow. I'm sorry guys, I feel like I am letting you down, it is so great to come on here and catch up and read all the posts, you guys are amazing and a complete inspiration.

                            To tell you the truth I am kind of scared of working out. I have to confess that I am afraid that I'll start working and then I won't be able to do half as much as I was able to do last month. But the dam guilt is killing me, every day that i don't do something I hear this awful voice in my head beating me up and I am so sick of it. It is time to shut it up once and for all. I am going to do my walk tonite and hopefully i will be doign the whole tape by the end of the week. We'll see what happens after that.

                            Ok, sorry it was such a long post but I've been gone a while and have really missed you guys. ((hugs))

                              Thanks Sarah- My dog is really so scared of people because he was treated bad as a little puppy... However, he has really came around to us and some close friends but he doesn't like strangers at all!

                              Yeay- Yoly is back! I've missed you sweetie!!!! Don't overdo it. Give your body time to recouperate! I am glad you are feeling better!!!!!

                              I just put a roast on for tomorrow. I bought a beef roast and put a jar of pepperoncini(sp) with some kens steakhouse italian dressing(1g carb) then I added some celery and a can of beef broth. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out!!!!

                              I probably won't be exercisig tomorrow b/c it is a long workday for me. I will be working from 9-11. yuck. I calculated to meet my goal of 600 minutes for the month I need to average 25 min a day from now till the 31st! I think I can do it!!!! ok- gotta run! Later!
