    Hi! Can I join too?

    I'd like to lose 10 pounds and I plan to start exercising (I've slacked lately), increasing my minimum water intake from 64 to 72 ounces and continuing on OWL.

                    Wow.. look at all the new people... this is really going to be fun! I can't wait to see how much weight we've all lost by the Halloween.

                    I'm working on my first 32 ounce bottle of water and it isn't even 8:00 am. And today I'm getting my exercise going again, I'm excited about that!

                      Ok you guys....it hit me today that I can't weigh until 9/1 because I'm still in that challenge too. Lord help me if I haven't lost anything again by the 1st....but then I'm keeping my scale until I'm at goal, and then forever. You all do realize I've been trying to lose these 3 pounds for 5 + months now?????

                      Goals: Eat under 1800 calories a day, 1500 being my lowest intake and carbs 30-40
                      (instead of 1800-2200)
                      Drink my water
                      Continue my walking 3x week
                      Be at goal on or before 10/31

You've been struggling with those last few pounds for 5 long months, but you have stuck to this WOL showing me the kind of dedication that I strive for! Not only do you keep trying, but you also cheer everyone else on, and help them with their own stumbles along the way.

                          If there is any justice in the natural world, you WILL lose those 3lbs!! I love ya so much Silly!!!

                            Just finished work out, and 24oz water...I was cooling down reading this book about "Flip the Switch" I think my Mom got it at Readers Digest. Its all about ways to get our metabolism to burn fat. With atkins we know our diet is causing us to burn fat...
                            The books suggests early morning exercise, gets the furnace fired up, getting in bright sunlight or room light after waking up causes our brain to think, "up and attem" and that provokes our furnace. People who exercise in the morning have the highest chance of making it a habit, and it of course impacts the metabolism for many hours.
                            So Halloweeners, I encourage you to get up, turn on the lights, get that exercise in, and know you have increased your chances of burning more fat. Keep to your lipolosis, it keeps you in the fat burning zone...and that 10 pounds will begin melting...

                              Back at ya Saty! I know, I know....I will not give this up...ever. Been eating this way for years, mostly anyway. Honestly, it's you guys that keep me going too!
