Olga - I find that when I'm hungary it's because I'm not eating enough protein. Protein makes you feel full...so maybe monitor the amount of protein you are eating. It should be 30% of your caloric intake. So if I'm eating 2000 calories a day, I should be getting 600 calories from protein foods like meat and cheese.

If you just want to post a menu for one day, it might be easy for us to point out a problem area!

Also, NEVER think that you are bothering us! That's what ADBB is all about! Helping each other through it all!

Well, I've figured up that I have SIX more weeks to lose SIX more pounds. That's definitely doable. Maybe I can lose even a little more than that!

Happy Losing Everybody! SIX more weeks till Halloween!

Hey everyone, I am still walking along side of you guys, but don't have much to report...Caitlin and I have been hiking in a nea by park and she is so motivated to go there and kick butt...I want to kick butt too, but my fitness level is not to the point where I can take it in stride easily, I get really tired from the exertion. My spirit wants to jog these half hour course thru the woods, up and down and all around hills...in the setting of beautiful trees and cool breezes... I will get there eventually.
I weigh in Sat. I can see a noticable change in my body, so things are changing alot, don't know what the scales will confirm tho.

          How'd weigh day go, Christine?

You can do it, Liz! I'm in your corner!!

Jess, it's great Caitin is so motivated -- I'm sure you've been a great inspiration for her!

I figured out that I was 269 when I started the challenge. Official weigh day is tomorrow, but I'm 260 now, so that means I'm almost there! I had set my own personal Trick No Treats goal to actually be below 250 by Halloween, so I still have a ways to go for that.

              Hi ladies!

Adena! You're doing fabulous! Nine pounds down is awesome

Jess, I know what you mean. But if you can go a little longer or a little harder each time you work out, you'll build up wonderfully. Also, kudos to Caitlin! I'm so glad she's got such a wonderful mom like you

Liz, six pounds in six weeks is COMPLETELY do-able! I'm rooting for you!

and Yay Saty! That cream can be a killer! It had me in it's clutches too and I'm just now getting back to 3 or less ounces a day *blush*

As for me, I lost another two pounds this week (and 7.25 inches!) I'm super impressed with the inches since it's been awhile since I've lost that many. I'll be heading over to the other thread to drop my pounds off for the chart

Thanks for being so supportive you guys...I'm so happy to be in this challenge with all you wonderful gals!

Liz - I'm with you... 6 more pounds in six weeks would make it 8 pounds for me... that would help! Any extras would be appreciated too...LOL! We can do it!

Jess- Hiking sounds wonderful and if you're seeing changes in your body you'll probably see changes on the scale. Good luck on Saturday!

Adena - WoW! Down 9 pounds... You've done a great job!

Saty - Congratulations on limiting that cream intake! You are awesome. You are doing such a great job leading and motivating this group! Thank you for taking this on. It's been helpful to all of us! Saty... I think that chart will have to go on some type of Memory row...LOL!!!! Look what this group has done. I need to start losing some weight here!

Christine - Another 2 pound and 7.25 inches WoW!!!! I'm so proud of you. You're doing such a great job!

Thanks guys -- I was pretty happy, too! And who knows, when I officially weigh tomorrow (I'm only allowed to change my signature on Fridays), I might be down to 259! I'm running (well, mostly walking) a 5K tonight. That should help. Then again, my body LOVES to hold onto water weight when I exercise. So, we'll see....

Adena - Even if you held onto any water weight, after running the 5K you should look and feel great. Kudos to you! P.S., the body will always look better from the exercise, even if you weigh a little more... so, keep doing what you're doing. We will all be with you in spirit!

Boonie, sorry to hear that. Believe me, I can relate. But you know you're fighting the good fight, so try not to get discouraged!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I just got home and am too keyed up to sleep. It was fun! Unfortunately, though, it wasn't much of a workout. It was very crowded and the walkers were a very slow group. It took us about 55 minutes. That's barely better than a 20 minute mile!! But, it was fun, and at least I was out there moving. For me, doing something like that -- WANTING to do it -- is an indication of a healthier lifestyle. 3 months ago, I wouldn't have done it at all. So, that's enough to make me happy with the race, even if we did walk at a snail's pace!

One thing I did at the race that I shouldn't have was to eat barbque. Of course, I didn't eat the bun, but did eat some pulled pork and chicken swimming in sauce. I avoided the sauce as best I could, but not very successfully. I also had a few tomato slices. Unfortunately, that's all there was to eat, and it had been 8 hours since I'd last eaten (I know, I shouldn't have put myself in that situation). So, I tried to do the best with what I had. I KNEW that if I didn't eat something, I'd be starving, and I can't be trusted when I get to that point. I did, of course, stay away from the pasta salad and cookies, however.

Okay, going to go up and take a hot bath to make myself sleepy. Weigh in tomorrow -- yay!!
