      Hi, everybody! I'm sure nobody's sore or creaky today, right? lol
      Good luck, Dixie 77, I had my sister take pictures, too. They were kind of scary. I made her promise to delete them after I printed them. I do have a copy in my e-mail, though, in case I ever decide to show them. It is inspirational, sure don't want to stay looking that way. Stay with it, and don't be scared. I've been really surprised at how fast my endurance has built.
      Slimndown, housework can be every bit as hard as the video, especially 6 hours worth. I only did ramp it up to the floor exercises this morning. I wasn't functioning real well this morning, and couldn't find the new batteries for the dvd remote. We have auditors at work today and tomorrow, so I was a little stressed, too. I'm going to do the floor exercises tonight, though. I'm going to hang tough and do this! I looked in the mirror last night and actually saw muscles in my arm. Yeah, there was a little fat hanging, too, but muscle definition, WOW!

      Hey, skinnymom, no way you suck! Come on back and join us, and you'll be outdoing us in no time! Remember, it's almost time for the pools to open! You've got to get that new swimming suit!

        Thanks LooseShoes!! I am going to start again tomorrow. I swear. My plan is to get up and do it first thing in the morning so there is no talking myself out of it later in the day. I promise I'll be back LOL!

        Our pool opens Saturday - YIKES! I haven't even tried on my bathing suit yet....hopefully it is too big

            Misplaced Southerner, keep up the good work on Burn it up! You're doing great. I had to break my workout into two sessions yesterday, but I did do it all. Today I get off early from work so I slept in, we'll do it when daughter gets out of school. I'm so glad I've been doing Atkins for a while before I started this. I don't think I would have had the energy in the mornings to have stayed with it this well otherwise.
            Skinnymom, let us know how you did today. We're pulling for you!

              Hi Everyone! I made it through day 3 and I am not quite as sore today. When am I supposed to start the next section? I thought it was two weeks of siu, 2 weeks of riu, and the final 2 weeks doing biu. Is that not right? We took before pics last night and Scary! Although I will say I look back at my pre-atkins pics 9the ones I didn’t post…too revealing) and I am losing inches. Anyway, I am pumped cause my tummy feels a bit tighter today…maybe my imagination but I think I am already seeing results. My boyfriend even said he would do the videos with me and even better that he doubted I would need the treadmill since the workout includes good cardio…that is great cause I hate the treadmill with a passion. I may still do it a couple times per week if I am feeling really motivated. I did peek at the riu section and it looks wicked scary and long…I think I saw the donkey kicks but I was ff’ing so fast…are they the standing kicks or the floor ones?

                yeah kristy!!! i bet you already look great. we are our own worst critics! i just did the 1st video a couple of days, the 2nd one for 3 days....and now the 3rd one. it does what we do in the first 2, just lots more of it and lots, lots faster....i am not sure which ones are the donkey kicks, seems like i am doing nothing but kicking for the whole hour! i am always losing my balance...glad no one is video taping me! just do what feels good. if you are getting comfortable with ramp it up, move on to burn it up....i was comfortable enough, yea it was hard but ready for something harder...well...I GOT IT! yikes!

                  Kristy - Move on from Start It Up when you're ready, there's really no set timeframe on how it works. Yes, Ramp It Up kicks butt! I've been doing Ramp It Up the last couple of weeks and it thoroughly works all of the muscles. I haven't been sore, just worn out. Yesterday I moved it back to Start It Up thinking that I would just get myself cemented in the idea of working out most every day and take it a bit easier - no way! Turns out that I have to slow it down more for Start It Up so now my muscles burn because I am working harder with no momentum . It sure is a good workout for being so quick .

                  Miss South - Think you may be seeing some results over there with BIU? I hope so.

                  Back to Start It Up for me. Yes, I CAN do Ramp It Up but I think I'm burning out too quickly because I'm not really used to regularly exercising.

                    That is what I am worried about so I think I will finish week one on siu and maybe even week 2 before jumping into riu.

                      I did Ramp it Up today - ouch! I HATE those standing side cruches. Anyone else feel those do NOT work the abs? I feel it in my thigh?

                        Good Morning, everyone, it's Happy Friday! Rebecca and I Ramped it Up last night and this morning. I did pretty well last night, but this morning was tough. Just had no energy, somehow. I made it through it and was plenty sweaty and tired, but I wasn't doing near the reps that I have been. Seems like this happened during start it up, and the next day my body finally got it. Maybe my body is trying to make me give up, and when I don't, it gives in and goes up a notch. Or maybe I'm becoming paranoid and psychotic. lol
                        Kristy, just go at your own pace. It's not a race or a contest. You'll know when you're ready to go to Ramp it up. Just stay with it and you'll do fine.
                        Skinnymom, I'm not fond of those standing side crunches, either. I feel it more in the hip I've got most of my weight on. Maybe it pulls into the lower abs. I do feel some twinges there today.
                        Keep it up, Slimndown. Start it up is a great workout, too.
                        Misplaced Southerner, you're giving us hope we can do Burn it up, too. Is it getting any easier yet?
                        I am wearing a size 16 pant and shirt today for the first time in years. I started Atkins as a size 20, so I am really happy. Have a great day!

                          YEAH Caryl! I *just* finished Ramp it Up for the day. I was like that too, first day of a new routine I could do most of the reps, then the next couple of days I couldn't, and then if I pushed myself, I got to where I could do them all. I did great yesterday, today was a bit shaky. I cannot do that tricep move with the resistance band, I must have the wimpiest triceps on record lol! Other than only doing half of those, I was able to do all the other band reps and almost all the donkey kick things woo hoo! I can do all the pushups, situps, plies and squats. Might be almost time to move to Burn but I'm way too skeered!

                          I think I finally need to give in and buy some vitamins. I never take them (I have a thing against all pills) but I feel I would benefit from them if I am going to continue exercising.

                          Thanks for the encouragement, I truly wouldn't have started back up if not for this group!

                              mornin' kristy, skinny and caryl!!!!!!!! (and anyone else i might have missed)...you guys are TOUGH! i am so proud of all of us...that workout is killer....all 3 of them. just to give you an idea.....my 19 year old buffmeister son came home from college wed. and was teasing me about my "little video". i challenged him to do burn it up with me...he did....and he was DYING! so.....goody for us!

                              this morning i pulled out my favorite short khaki skirt from the closet (wishful thinking maybe....it is a size ...guess what ...IT FITS!!! so today i am wearing my favorite size 8 khaki skirt and my size medium GAP denim sleeveless shirt that i love with my little red mules and feelin' mighty fine

                              i guess the experts were right....it works! (even tho i HATE IT!)

                                YAY MS!!! Isn't that the best? I am wearing medium's in my Gap shirts and size 4 in their shorts when just 6 weeks ago I was CRAMMED in an 8 (really should have been in a 10) Now, I know vanity sizing is at work here, but shoot, I'll take it

                                I am super sore now but I feel SO great after exercising this morning, I really think that will be the key for me. Do it early so I have that feeling of accomplishment all day and nothing hanging over my head to have to do later.

                                I'm laughing at your son, my husband was joking about the videos too so I had him try the abs routine and he couldn't even do 5 minutes of it and was sore for a week
