Then for some reason, I kept thinking about Italian sausage fried with cabbage, and although I had never had it before, it turned out delicious. I love fennel seeds, so I put some toasted ones on top. I sure hate how this 'diet' deprives me of tasty food! NOT! Every thing was easy to make and contained no surprise sugar or fillers. All was made with fresh ingredients--no crap in it at all and delicious.

3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

I took several recipes and combined them to come up with what I thought I would like best. I had to tinker a bit, but they turned out well.

Then why don't I feel good? I feel bloated and ill at ease and like I am a brick. I guess I could be PMSing and retaining water but I don't seem to be losing weight or getting smaller, especially around my midsection and hips! My arms are a little smaller.

This is what I posted to you on the SIS challenge:

Don't let it get you down! It's because you did things way differently yesterday and your body is trying to compensate. Not getting enough water is enough to cause bloat, especially with all the activity. You were there for a long time. All that walking would cause your body to hold on to fluid to bathe the sore muscles to heal them. I promise it will go back away if you just rest up and drink plenty of water. Stay off the evil scale! Give your body time to recover it's equilibrium before you weigh again. Tell that nasty subconscious that is making you feel disheartened to take a long hike off a short pier.

Day 23 in the bank! I had to make myself stop eating tonight. I had too little lunch, then went to town for too long, and I was starving by the time dinner was ready. I can never get full after getting that hungry.

I started really late, but I managed:
                        20 minutes on the stepper
                        30 minutes lifting weights

                        Sunny!

                          Hi Everyone,

I've decided to do an extended induction after much debate with myself. I've got a lot of weight to lose and I'm enjoying making my own food. As long as I make sure I have ingredients ready to go, I'm not at all feeling deprived. The only times I'm hungry is when I've been really busy with work all day and I've gone too long without eating (grrrr). Then I have to cook something while I'm famished, and that's no fun. I rewarded myself for completing induction with a few cool kitchen gadgets and I'm very happy learning new ways to prepare my veggies. My faves: skillet pizza using mozzarella, +(insert veggie here), +(insert meat here), +garlic, basil and crushed red pepper. I'm a Chicagoan, but unlike most, I always preferred thin crust pizza, so this is not a stretch for me! Another amazing find...Fried "rice" using shredded cauliflower from http://genaw.com/lowcarb/fried_rice.html. Oh my God! It's so good, I made it 4 times in 7 days. I even brought the ingredients to work and cooked some up for my coworkers! They loved it.
