Re: New YOU in the New Year's Challenge
You know Liss, I'm only grumpy about it because I have allowed others to influence me in pushing aside my needs for theirs. Honestly, if I hadn't been doing this diet and this challenge, I would have packed on at least ten pounds instead of losing weight this holiday season. So I really haven't done badly at all
. There's that chapter in the NDR book, where Dr Atkins talks about how we need to really look at the emotional pitfalls that make us eat badly and I think I learned what some of my weakness are this time around and am better prepared to deal with some issues when they crop up - cause ya know they will, lol.

But I learned my lesson ... stay with the program; it's so much easier!

. I may not have reached my goal this time but I will and won't give up. I think I just need more exercise to rev things up, so I think I'll sign on for some of those kinds of challenges next to keep me moving. You have all been a great inspiration and a source of support! Thank you!

if anybody started something now, in this forum, it would not be a new you, new year but it might be memorial day or maybe even longer term such as a july 4 challenge.
