1) Always check the ingredients in the foods you're eating or ask the person who prepared them what they used. Some sausages are legal, others are not.
2) What will sugar and flour do to you? In the worse case scenario, they will stall you or, if the amount used is high and you have a very low CCLL, they may also cause weight gain.
3) Chewing gum is not recommended on induction. There is sugar-free gum sweetened with legal sweeteners (check the book for the list), but sugar alcohols do affect the blood sugar levels of some people (therefore, should be counted as net carbs... or, as I've seen recently, half of them should be counted as net carbs). My advice is to stay away from chewing gum, especially during induction. It's a treat (basically, it is not food... just something sweet) and it's the "food=treat" mentality that caused most of us to gain weight in the first place.
