    CONGRATULATIONS BOONIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now aren't you glad i didn't add anything because of the huge jump in flights from ben nevis to mont blanc? you might have been done with the extra climb but you'd still have blanc staring you in the face.

2 more to go and we're done!!!!!

did you latch hold of sal so she could get on kilimanjaro with us?

      holy smokes you guys!
we've been posting some impressive numbers!!!

at the end of 2006, we had climbed 28,400 flights. that was climbs we finished and nothing else. right now, we've climbed a total 36,361. that means we've climbed 7,961 flights in less than 2 months!!! and those are finishd climbs, it doesn't account for where we are on our present climbs.

that's so just too awesome!!!!! you guys are fantastic!!!!

Congrats Boonie!!!!! Great idea about bringing a glider! Funny how it doesn't take long to glide down as it did to climb up. Enjoy the view!!!!!

          Awesome climbing Susan! Congrats!

Now that I'm all alone on Mont Blanc, I feel the urge to speed up a bit... so I can join you and Jimmie on Kilimanjaro. Maybe I should exchange my morning workouts for steps occasionally, to get the flights in. The summit of Blanc is still a way away, but if I hurry, I might just catch you both before you finish ol Kili!

Thanks, you all! Sal, you may notice near the summit there's quite an updraft - it can whisk you up by leaps and bounds if you approach is good!

If my ankle is better tomorrow, I'm going to try for Fifty on Killy... has a nice ring to it. If I do that 5 days/week give or take some, I might be able to lighten my load and catch Jimmie 48 in a month or so...

How far up are you, Jimmie?

Am searching for the footprints to follow and using my little tent as a sail to catch the updrafts! Will see what I can do today.

The link to the climbing worksheet does not seem to be working for me right now...it says some website is being updated. What would be the next building after the Clifton Bridge and how many flights is that?

i will check into the problem, attek. thanks for letting us know that.

the next after clifton is Big Benn at 42 flights. after that is Forth Rail Bridge @ 45 flights.

i'll edit the post at the beginning by adding the building/mountains and the flights so anyone can look there for updates.

Attek, if you copy or print the contents of the worksheet, it wont matter what problems happen on the site. I keep my tallys in MS Word, along with tons of other Atkins-useful stuff. I open the doc to get the atkins website address & login so I don't have to type it, save favorite smileys, etc., too.

Jimmie - I heaar there's more snow coming to cover your footprints before I can catch up to you. I'm still moving a little slow; checking out my gear and all, ya know. Tie up some ribbons or something to blaze your path, would ya? I'm still hobbling a bit in the foothills at 23f right now, and can't see you or which way you went. LOL
