It's very easy to ingure your knees during these workouts. For the lunges, the knee must stay in line with the ankle. And for the pliƩs, the knees should bend out towards where the toes are facing. A lot of beginners tend to have their toes pointed out to the side but bend their knee forward instead of out to the side.

and even my tape measure has made little movements upwards. ARGH! I am so confused because my clothes are fitting better. Last year I bought yoga pants but never wore them because I thought they were too friendly (the stripes on the side were constantly waving) and I was going to return them. For some reason I tried them on this morning and the stripe was straight up and down instead of waving. There was even some give in my lower stomach that never existed before.
