    It's very easy to ingure your knees during these workouts. For the lunges, the knee must stay in line with the ankle. And for the pliƩs, the knees should bend out towards where the toes are facing. A lot of beginners tend to have their toes pointed out to the side but bend their knee forward instead of out to the side.

      RIU Done!

      I took a break yesterday so today's workout was harder than usual but the day off helped my stamina.

      My scale is creeping higher and even my tape measure has made little movements upwards. ARGH! I am so confused because my clothes are fitting better. Last year I bought yoga pants but never wore them because I thought they were too friendly (the stripes on the side were constantly waving) and I was going to return them. For some reason I tried them on this morning and the stripe was straight up and down instead of waving. There was even some give in my lower stomach that never existed before.

      It has been a few days since I did 6pack so I need to do that later.

      Hope everyone who is under the weather gets better soon.

        No workout yet today. Chance it's not going to happen at all today either, the way the morning has gone. So, I am going to call it a rest day. If something changes I'll report back.

          If I don't start feeling better, I never will make my 36 workouts. I am making my own version of Chicken soup. Being that I have never made any chicken soup that didn't begin with the word "Campbell's" and end with the words "and noodle", I hope that I can wing it.

            Well I got to do BIU later in the afternoon today. The whole day I was running around, doing errands frantically before my daughter comes home for the holidays. But fortunately I forced myself to workout, and I felt alot better once I finished. My dh did the workout with me today, and boy was he huffing and puffing! He couldn't keep up, and his co-ordination was off, but he kept going, just to keep up with me, which of course he couldn't!

                  BIU done early this morning to get it out of the way. We have 3 parties to go to today, a brunch, a drop-in and a Chanukah dinner tonight. I'm bringing some Raspberry Flax Muffins for the brunch, and some lc desserts for the drop in, and for the dinner it is buffet style, so I will just pick and choose. Maybe I'll have to do another workout tonight!

                        Cruisergal, when you are done with your 3 more workouts will you pick up the rest of mine too???? LOL.
                        Crap. Can't get it in this morning. Product delivery came at 6:30, got that put away, loaded the van and have to get out of here as soon as MIL gets here. I WILL get it done this afternoon!!

                          BIU done, started my workout at 4:30 a.m.. Gosh, I really, really didn't feel like doing it, but I did it. I am not quite 1/2 way through this challenge. Ugggh. I still really hate the lunges.

                            Okay SiU done!! Okay so I know everyone is reaching the middle to end of this challange, but I got 2 done!! Not really keeping track, just doin' em b/c I need and want to.

                            (((((floydgirl))))) Good for you. I didn't want to either, but we did it. It's hard and we should be proud of ourselves for pushing ourselves!!

                              Burn it Up is done! I still need to stretch, though. The kids didn't let me get to that part.

                              Boxermom - I've gained 4 lbs since the beginning of this challenge, but I'm going to ignore the scale. My clothes fit better, so I must be redistributing weight and gaining muscle. I've gained some inches too, but DH says I _look_ great, so I'm just going to believe him.

                                LC-You have a healthy attitude towards your scale. I need to adapt to your way of thinking. My scale is going up slightly but so is my confidence. I am getting fitter and carrying myself in a different way as I become fit.

                                I really didn't want to exercise today but I did RIU. I am glad I did. My balance was so much better than first thing in the morning. I didn't wobble like a weeble.

                                I changed my height today and it is actually accurate. I had a bone density test today and they measure height as part of the test. When you get up in the morning you are taller than you are at the end of the day. As the day progresses your spine compresses and slightly reduces your height. Here I thought I was shrinking as I got older and I'm taller than I realized.

                                I went swimming last night and my son told me my chest looked bigger. There is no way it can get any smaller so I looked in the mirror and my stomach has flattened a little making it look bigger. Woo Hoo! A few minutes later same child also told me my butt wasn't as fat. Sometimes kids are just a little too honest.
