    i couldn't get in here last night or this morning cause ....well, who knows why?

    last night we went for pizza with the youngest of our offspring. it didn't make me sick, i stopped at the full mark and suffered nothing for it.
    i did however, think it best to do something, so i got out the yoga and pilates dvd that barbiebud sent me. i worked with that for 1 hour.

    look at the goalie awards! how awesome you guys look! oh and notice my siggy too. it's in honor of you guys.

      whew i was worried about you. left you a note in your journal asking where you was. thanks for the siggy plug. did my gym stuff today and loved every second of it. the addiction is returning.

        do not worry about me, 2big. i just haven't had a chance to park my bootah over in chats yet.

        no real exericise routine yesterday but i had to move the tables and chairs again by myself. i was having a "be mad at someone" moment so they rolled out much easier this week. still very hard though and quite an arm workout.

        2big, your siggy is getting quite full with all your awards! and i'll bet you don't even have them all there! where else could we say "good for you, your addiction is back!" lol

          yep every time y'all make us a new one something has to come out. the old goalie for that one was a fair trade.
          glad nothing was wrong with you.
          Getting those anger hormones out in a positive manner was great for notonly your mental health but your weight too.
          So where is the rest of out exercise adicts? Common guys feed your addiction. you knowyou want it. those endomorphins feel great too.

            Nice to see you all so enthusiastic! I envy you becoming an exercise addict 2big! I still find it a total chore... but right now, I do my workout watching (well sort of watching, from odd and peculiar contortions...) Jamie Oliver on TV...lol... that helps a bit. He did a cool recipe of baked onions wrapped in bacon and stuffed with rosemary, cream, cheese.... awesome! Must try it!

            Yes Jimmie! Aren't the awards cool! And don't we wear 'em proud? Good incentive too not to fall prey to carb creep... Thanks alot for your nice siggie message!

            Haven't posted in a couple of days, but haven't skipped anything. Walking the dogs is freezing these days...a real cold snap over here. Brrrrrrrrrrr... my nose drips icicles by the end of the walk!

              I'm with Sally, not addicted yet..it's still a bit of a chore, but I"m working on it!


              Did my weights and pilates monday, nothing tuesday, weights and pilates again today, and i also did a fast and long walk with the dog (it's freezing here..that made me walk faster!)

              I've got a March break trip to florida booked..so that should keep me in line for my exercise!

                SADIEJEN! you're coming to florida? whereabouts? barbie's territory or here or somewhere in between? there is alot of inbetween from her and me!

                i dealt with the church kitchen yesterday practically all day. no real routine and not the arm work i had on tuesday. guys were there to put things away so i took a rest day.

                i'll get something in today. i'm packing boxes and such but i think i will do the ball and band and then ride my bike for 10 or 15 minutes. we'll see. i tend to actually do things if i tell you i will. accountability! and hey, no addictions here either unless the one to the board counts. i do a lot of finger work! ah...but not as much as 2big! lol

                  i've been having to take a couple of rest days. i have been busy but the routine workouts are fading fast with the packing and such. i feel like i am losing it.

                    that last post was made at 4:07 am. i was not in a good frame of mind there.

                    i got some more stuff tossed in the dumpster this afternoon. then i came indoors and got some more packing done. then i decided to just go ahead and bike so i did for 30 minutes, biking 4.6 miles and burning 273 calories. i have now finished the challenge and got through it slug free thanks in part to you guys! thank you !!!!!

                        Whoops! Sorry... that one sort of slipped in unfinished... Erm, as I was saying:

                        Great Jimmie, for getting back up on that bike and burning the calories away!

                        As for me... well, was sticking to routine just fine until I got sick (and I never get sick!!!!) First a cold, but not a bad one...then a really bad tummy bug. Something I ate, probably. High temp; nausea; spending more time in the bathroom than anywhere else... details !! Was completely floored.

                        Skipped exercise and dog walk on Saturday. It was as much as I could do to drag myself out and give the doggies a run behind the car; then fell into bed and stayed there. What do you guys eat when you have an upset tum, on Atkins?? Instinct strongly told me to avoid anything, so I did. Tried to keep fluids up sipping water and tea...

                        This morning (Sunday) a little better. Temp down. Managed 20 min slow dog walk and half a cup of oats for breakfast. So far so good. Might try a little soup at lunch, if I have the energy to make some.

                        Sorry to list all my woes...guess I'm just not used to feeling this way. But think I've turned the corner now and hope to ease back into the swing of things by tomorrow. Dropped two kilos in a day and a half!!! But I know they'll soon go back on again...which is what I want at this stage!

                            We're going to Treasure Island, but we're driving down so maybe we will be passing by? Funny, I just sent you a PM about our route 5 mins before I saw this !

                            I'm quite proud of myself today...I ran 20 mins outside last night (i've been running on a treadmill lately), 15 mins at 6 a.m. this morning, and 15 mins tonight after I got home from the office!

                            I also did 15 mins of pilates after my run this a.m.

                            I'll also be taking the dog out for one more walk tonight..but i think i'll keep it as a walk.

                            My legs are killing me, but in a good way. I'm going to do my weights/pilates tomorrow and take a break from the running.

                            I'm thinking rather than push myself to do long runs now..i'll do a couple of shorter ones and work my way up. since the dog needs walked a few times a day anyway.

                            Had to go to the office today, and tomorrow, usually i'd make that an excuse not to..but i've promised myself no more excuses!

                              Well I made it a treadmill treckie goalie too. whew! man those guys allpassed their goals weeks ago.

                                sadie i think we will be "ships" passing on the highway! i have no idea at this moment when the move will happen. i am packing as if it's next week. not much more to go. it looks as though we will be as close as maybe 2 to 2 1/2 hours away and as much as 3 or 4. tell ya what, you drive south, we'll drive north and meet at snowlily's house! lol surprise snowbud!!!!

                                accountability............i have to confess, i haven't done anything as far as a routine goes so far this week. i did move the tables and chairs again....by myself...as always. 10 tables, 70 chairs were put up but to get those 70 chairs i have to push a cart that has 84 chairs on it. that thing is so hard to move. it takes every bit of strength i have. tables are on carts that hold 8 so i have to wheel 2 of them to get the 10. thank my God above this is the last supper! i have also been lifting lots of boxes and stretching to get things off walls. it's not biking and it's not balll and band but it is something more than than the couch. i'll try to get 1/2 hour on the bike in the morning. if i don't do it then i won't get it done at all. i got a full day in the kitchen tomorrow.
