    okay Jimmie but the ball layback crunches are ealier on the rest of your body and you can't "cheat" and use leg musc;es to pull you up too andthey are easieronthe back

    Sadie run Jimmie Jo got a pushup challenge now too.

    I had to laugh when you posted about the dogs running behind the car. Has anybody seen the cartoon about forced jogging where they tie a rope to the read bummer and the waist of the exerciser and drive off? either run or be dragged?

    Did my BFL, cardio and situps today.

      good going on everyones workouts. i haven't done anything yet today.

      i have to tell you guys something.............the more i work out the heavier i am and this is soooo freaking me out.

      editing to add my stats for the day:
      50 crunches
      20 ball squats
      20 stab. ball pushups
      50 (each) leg lifts
      stretching with the ball 5 minutes
      bike: 30 minutes, 5 miles, 293 calories

      now to update all the challenge threads...............

        Hi Sadie, nice to see you again! I too am going away in March, so have set a low target for the Abs Challenge... fingers crossed!

        Jimmie... if it's any comfort, I had a two and a half pound weight gain overnight! I know it's only water retention, but it's come at the wrong time in my weird menopausal cycles... and it still makes me edgy!

        Dogs forgave me the short run, yes...when they got an extra long one next day!

        2big, I haven't resorted to tying the hounds to the bumper...yet; but if they get any naughtier when I try to get them back in the car.... well, I'll have to threaten them with that, won't I?! *chuckles*.

        Got my exercise (40 mins) and walk (also 40 mins) in this morning.

            your body is just reacting to the new load you put on it. See it thinks like you
            "this is crazy! get ready cause some horrible thing is putting Jimmie Jo in danger.
            We need to save her get ready.
            pre load the tissues with supplies so we can respond better the next time this thing attacks."

            Once they realize it is their new normal load that loaded supplies of theirs will be released and whooshie will come. Measure and see how much smaller you are getting burning up fat for fuel while you load them


            I wish you had a body fat measuring sclae so you could see the % shrinking every week!

            I did my HIIT this morning and ball situps and pushups.

              I WANT A BODY FAT MEASURING SCALE!!! i didn't know there was such a thing. i do live a sheltered life you know.

              thanks girls for the pats on the back. i don't really have cycles any more. i think i had a tom maybe twice last year. fine with me! i think i am in the midst of the effects of one without it actually being there, if that makes sense. oh, enough of that, i hate talking about that subject. lol

              i'm just happy to know that other goalies are dealing with this kind of thing too.

              i think my workout today will be some of the push ups and riding the bike. i really haven't decided yet.

                hey Jimmie Jo you can do a pose down every week on your eqipment and see how great you are shaping up

                oh and just so you know other hormones in the body clycle too like TOM and can cause body weight fluctuations too.

                  yep i know. i have been major stressed for sometime now and i know that is part of it. age is part and the exercise increase. i just keep telling myself that the 4's still fit.

                          the big auction for the school is tonight and we will be leaving here in couple hours to help ernest and co. with the food and such. i'll be a whooped puppy by nights end.

                            Up to scratch both yesterday and today. Walking was fun today... it's snowed here and everything was white. Bianca (my white Maremma sheepdog) even looked beige against the brightness. Everything grinds to a halt when it snows here. Wonder if I'll make it down the hill to the bank.....

                              oh my, sal, not much action in here. that means everybody is extremely busy with exercise!! not so much..............

                              good for you though! you're keeping up with things and keeping up with this thread! don't forsake, sal, i need to know you guys are here.

                              i have not done anything today. sluggard that i am. i am still battling this feeling of bloatiness and such. i think the added exercise has indeed been freaking my muscles out. holding on to water, making more muscle, adding more weight....blah blah. i am trying to convince myself that the 4's still fit! lol

                                Hang in there jimmie! You're doing great. Everyone needs a sluggy day now and again. And...all that lovely smooth muscle's gotta weigh a bit more than flab!

                                Added a couple of facial exercises I saw on TV yesterday, to my morning workout. Supposed to tone up the face! Oh yeah?? We'll see! They're not much on calorie burning though! *laffs*
