did one 15 minute run today, had to head back it was absolutely POURING. not that I care, but my dog smells bad enough when he's not soaking wet! Just took a look outside and it's stopped so going to go for another 15 min run.

I did laundry today so i did some more of my modified chin ups..i can really feel them so i think i'll stick too them and see how long it takes me to do at least 1 un-modified one!

Well I finally gave in and weighed today and I'm back down to 125! That extra 5 lbs has been hanging around a year now. what a relief. I'd still like to be 120 but i'm not complaining. I'm calling it goal. As long as it stays off that's all i care about.

Ran 2 miles today, and did 20 mins pilates.

sadie, i'm happy for the loss and you feeling better about things.

sal, congrats on joining the mod squad! and welcome home!

sorry i have not been too frequent in here. sometimes i have to cut corners or i'd be on here 6 or 7 hours and that is too long. the goalie thread is the one that suffers. i had a few days of not wanting to do anything. i think the weather has me a bit down. i am not use to this. it seems like summer just got here and now it's over.

i am however up to date with my challenges and flights are on the agenda tomorrow. lots of flights.
the scale challenge is almost over. i'll be anxious to weigh. i go from moderate ketosis to small every day and if the weight is pleasing to see i'll add something back in to the "diet". probably peanut butter cause i've missed that.

there sure is alot of green in this thread these days!!

Sadie! Congrats on your slipping back down the weight scale!

Jimmie... Congrats on your gold medal (saw from 2big's post)...not sure what it's for, but congrats anyway! Thanks for the welcome to 'green'.

Back on track... now want the scale to ease down, the way it eased up over the last week.

Had my head stitches out yesterday! Never have I longed to wash my hair so much!
Now there's no excuse for doing only half the exercise routine!

sorry to read the story about your stitch finding. pretty bad when the doctor can't see them and he's looking right at the top of your head!

i got my 4 days in for the 6 wec but just the 4. slow week for me. i got biking and some weight work in today.

i'm back to just a trace of ketosis now. tomorrow maybe nothing but that's okay and on plan. right now i feel very fat .... i had a huge lunch.

Re the stitches...to give the doc his due, there were only a couple and I have thick hair!

Did shortened version of dog walk (they weren't impressed) and exercise today, but cleaned the whole house prior to my trip. Phew!

2Big hope the family visit wasn't too stressful for you?

I went out to Costco on Friday night and blew out my knee getting out of my car, somehow I twisted it. I have a feeling it was one of those things that was inevitible..it's been bothering me so much lately. I'v ebeen taking Advil for the pain, and wearing a knee brace on it. The weekend wasn't exactly good for it either, had company Sat night so I was on my feet alot, then we wen't shopping downtown yesterday so on my feet again alot there too. It seems to hurt when I lie with my leg straight out, so I slept with a pillow unde r it and that seemed to help a bit last night.

So I'm going to have to scale back on my running, but try to get in some other exercises. I think I will stick with balance ball and pilates to keep the exercise up while giving my knee a break.

2big... nice to see you back here again! Hope the inundation of visitors wasn't too heavy!
Thanks for the congrats...I got: The Spotlight and Intro...; Main; Chit Chat; High B/P and Cholesterol; Over 50; Maintenance; Before and After pics; Health Chat; Extended Induction... so I should be kept occupied! Am very happy! Unfortunately gotta go on a trip tomorrow (talk about bad timing!) so won't be able to look after them properly as my 'online time' will be drastically reduced and will be on with a slow connect-card connection.

Higgies... nice to see you here again. Good on ya for keeping the exercise going!

I did my HIIT today and my pushups. Mother has a cold but bless her heart she forgets and wants to go out and see folk and I won't take her cause I don't want her spreading it nor picking up another one. i was watching an interesting theory on cold viruses and alzheimers which said the virus get in brain tissue and damage memory. got to get to the med lib and check this out but there isn't really anything that can be done about it except live in a bubble.

Am in the Aeolian islands 2big... seven beautiful volcanic islands off the coast of Sicily. Here to look after our flatlets and get building work started on one of them. Posting this on the run from down there. Have a horrid slooooooowwwww and expensive connection. Hope your brother's having a fine time!

Lots of walking here, but am not timing... also lots of stairs. Good for the stair climbing challenge!
