    For my alternating day (without TJ) I walked for an hour Saturday. Brook.. everything ok? I'm assuming you're just super busy, but you haven't posted here in a while.

        I finally formalized my stats from the last challenge (didn't want to measure during TOM):

        Here are my results from 6 weeks of Si6:

        Body fat: Lost approximately 1%
        Weight: Lost 1.2 lbs
        Chest: Lost 1.5 inches
        Waist: Lost 1 inch
        Hips: Lost 1.5 inches
        Right mid thigh: Lost 0.25 inches
        Left mid thigh: Lost 0.25 inches
        Right upper arm (flexed at widest point): Lost 0.75 inches
        Left upper arm (flexed at widest point): Lost 0.75 inches

        Total inches lost: 6 inches

        Considering that I'm pretty close to goal, that's pretty amazing. I'm still having a lot of trouble getting my bodyfat percentage to drop, but I haven't really been focusing on my eating, and I just read an article talking about why most of the tests that we use aren't very accurate. My bloodpressure is great, and I'm wating for lab results on cholesterol to see whether exercise has made a difference there. (I have hereditary high cholesterol and am hypothyroid, so my ratios are usually good, but the total cholesterol number is through the roof.)

        I really am excited to see the changes the next 6 weeks bring!

            Anna- Glad you saw improvement on your stats. I agree that the closer you get to your goal the longer it takes to see improvements. Keep up your good work.

            Turbo Jam makes me look like a bear in a china shop. It is going to take several attempts to halfway keep up.

            "The girl from the south, Mindy" drives me crazy with her extreme facial expressions on TJ. I avoid looking at her at all costs because her eyes freak me out.

              I did most of Cardio Party 1 today. My back and knee started bothering me about 1/2 way in. I kept pushing myself till the pain was just too great.

                  According to the schedule, today was supposed to be a Keep it Up day. Since I don't own Keep it Up, I'd been planning to do BIU or RIU. But I just did BIU yesterday, and I don't like to waste an available weekend day doing a shorter routine, so I basically did eenie meenie miney mo, and ended up with MIU.

                  So . . . . MIX IT UP COMPLETED FOR TODAY, 1/15/06!!!

                  Even though I used higher weights, it was soooo much easier today than it was last Monday. Amazing how much strength you can gain in just one week.

                  [Edited to add] I had some time while the kids were napping, so I did COOL IT OFF as well.

                          Please put me down for another SICK DAY due to not being able to keep anything on my stomach. MONDAY I am going to try and go into work since I am feeling better tonight, but will take it as a REST DAY. I hope to pick up where I left off on Tuesday morning.

                            I did Start it Up again. I was thinking about diving into Ramp It Up but couldn't figure out where my resistance bands were - I'll have to look for them tomorrow. Anyways, I'm glad I didn't do it because by the end it SIU was wearing me out. The plus side is that I've not missed a rep from being worn out which has made me able to put more into it and actually start feeling the burn in the places I should because I finally have the stamina to get there!!!! It's so nice to be 25#'s lighter!
