Re: Preggo, On Atkins, and LONELY IN HERE

I cannot wait to find out what you are having, you better keep us updated! I hope that you are given a chance to have a natural birth as well, I could not imagine having to recover from a C-section.. although I couldn't imagine a 8.5 baby coming out of that tiny space either!

I felt the baby kicking early as well, and the nurse and doctor's looked at me like I was crazy. The kicking him off thing is hysterical, the baby does that to my 2y when hes sitting next to me on the couch and all I can do is laugh.
I'm jelouse of your chiropractor!!! I sure wish my medical covered that. I'm going to laugh if you turn out to be 21 weeks, since I am 22 now that will put us closer to delivery dates!

Cinders, I sure hope things look better for you girl. Take it easy, and take care of that baby inside of you. You cannot undo what is already done in this case, just try to make the best of it and enjoy your pregnancy as best you can.

Okay Emma=Cinders right? I had to backtrack and was second guessing =P

I apologise, I am unfamiliar with Ectopic pregnancies and didn't realise that tubal ones cannot be "fixed or replaced" to continue on . I'm sorry girl, I sure hope you feel better. I agree with good thing they caught it early, I'd hate to see anything permanently damaged, or even you bleeding out. I hope that you get through this okay.

Oh yeah sorry slight name change going on!

theyve not found a procedure that works from what i read up on there seems to be no way of safely gettin an egg that is in a tube where it should be!

having said all this! My AF is late again this month - doctor warned me that i would be very fertile after suffering a miscarriage and to be extra careful, but we decided that it was okay if it happened

Not gonna be getting my hopes up though! my body has been thru a lot so it could just be running late!

Hope all turns out well Cinders! I've heard fertility is higher just after a m/c, so it could be! My SIL conceived a month after a m/c.

All's well here. Still not feeling the baby much. She/he seems to have moved away from any sensory areas, since the hb was really strong still. I try not to worry, but I miss his/her little thumps and bumps.

I don't know! lol I'm getting impatient too....but Doc will probably schedule a u/s at my next appt. I'm actually pretty content right now. I had a dream last night that I was buying baby boy clothes...not that that means anything, but its the first "gender" related dream I've had. Honestly, I'm getting to that point where I would be completely happy either way... things I remember about raising my DS, and how much fun having a boy was are really coming back to me. Plus I got to thinking about changing a girls diaper, and thinking how much more messy it is, lol. We'll see. Glad you're still doing well! Aren't you glad Spring is on the way? Its finally feeling like it here, and I've truly missed warmer weather!

                    Have a great weekend!

Broke out in chicken pox this morning. I didn't think I had picked it up from my DS, but of course I was wrong. So...now its a waiting game to see how bad I get it, if there are any complications, or if I pass the infection on dear little baby. I'm praying and hoping I don't...God willing at this point.

                        Hey Marion!

Congrats on the baby! Sorry it's been lonely in here. How are things going with your chicken pox? Everything ok so far?

I recently found out that I'm pregnant. I'm 9 weeks now and due in October and we're thrilled. I've been eating like crap though and not exercising, so I've got to get back to Atkins and working out, I know the baby will thank me for it.

Hi Ralynda! Congrats on your big news! I love October...that was when I had my DS, three days before my own BD. Very happy for you!

Its not so lonely in here as it was when I first came in, thankfully, and now that you and Iyshia are joining us, its going to be a regular party! I had a hard time sticking to the Atkins during first trimester, then did really good for a couple months. Now I eat good on most days. My weight is well within the gaining limits, and my BP has been really good. Wishing you luck with your pregnancy!

Chicken pox update: I got real sick last night, and my fever is bouncing between 99 and 100. Bad chills, diahrea, severe back ache...yuck! I'm glad most people only get this once! I'm going to try to get through the day like normal though, because I can't afford to get behind in my DS's schooling.

Stay healthy everyone, and have a great day!

Hi everyone. I can finally say I am on the road to recovery. I made a long thing about it in my journal, so I don't want to go to into all of it here, but I had a close shave of it, and any doctor other than my very cool collected one would have had me in the hospital. I developed pnemonia on top of the vericella and a secondary infection in my throat and ears. My doc knew just what to do, and gave me a shot that had me feeling tons better by supper last night. Today my throat is still sore, but I have bouts of energy where I'm getting some things done, and I'm out of bed. Baby is fine, kicking up a storm. She kicked my dh in the head last night as he was using my abdomen as his pillow. He moved real quick, and wouldn't go back, because he was afraid he was "bothering her"....HA!!! Already has him wrapped around his finger, and isn't even born! No, I don't know if its a her...but I just feel it. Hopefully will find out in a few weeks.

                                Have a great weekend all!
