Re: ADBB Vitamin Club Conversation Thread
Does anyone know if the non-shellfish gluclosamine works as well as the shellfish derived gluclosamine? I ask because I'm allergic to shellfish, so I've avoided taking gluclosamine. And my knees really need some extra help. I've been exercising, and having to modify a lot of the moves. I don't want to end up having to have knee surgery like my mother did.
In other supplement news, I've been taking a skin/hair/nails supplement, a fruit and veggie thing, and bee pollen. Oddly enough, the bee pollen seems to be helping my allergies and hay fever, which is a good thing because I live to a field full of cedar. When I moved here, the cedar didn't affect me. But now it does. Oh, how it does.
What other supplements would be good to take?
