    I'M HERE!!!

Man, it's been a long day. After work today I went to dinner with some friends. We went to Italian of all places and the bread and pasta was calling my name...BUT...I ordered chicken wings and a side salad with ranch dressing instead. It's the best thing I could find on the menu.

After dinner we went to the talent show at my school. It was so cute. The kids did a really good job. Several of us teachers provided the entertainment at intermission. We danced the Cupid's Shuffle. We were breakin' it down! haha If you've never heard it or seen the dance, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExC1oGN5J28 Of course the students loved seeing all of us on stage! It was fun. After the talent show I had to drive a friend home who lives an hour round-trip. So, anyway, I just got home and checking in.

Welcome to the challenge Kygurl and Sher. I will add you to the list. Check in often. Make yourself at home here.

Congrats on the pounds lost Jupiter, Snap, and Sarah!!!

No exercise for me today except for the dancing at the Talent Show but I won't count that. lol I'll be heading to the gym tomorrow morning for...you guessed it...KICK! Hope everyone has a GREAT WEEKEND!!

haha...sandy. I'm glad to put your mind at ease. Sweet dreams now.

Jammie, when I found out that they had decided on Italian I had to give myself a pep talk. I decided before I ever got there that I would NOT cheat. I have to admit I came really close to ordering Chicken Parmesan without the pasta, but I knew that would be selling myself short because it's breaded, so I went with wings instead. It was still a great meal without the bread and pasta.

Thanks so much for the gracious welcome!!! So do I just post in here each time I weigh in and/or post minutes of exercise or is there a schedule of which day we post this info? Thanks again!!

Those italian places are bad news for me. Just the bread alone while you're waiting for your food to be brought to the table can be a temptation. One of my husband's favorite restaurants is Papa Vino's, I told him if he ever wants it ever again, it'll have to be a carry out just for him, or until I get my strength back up to where I was before!!! I still believe I could cave at any time so I am eliminating myself from any situation! I will get back to my old mindset I believe after my clean induction is over and at least 3-4 more weeks of extended induction.

Hey Sher, We just report in our exercise daily as we complete it and you can post your weigh-in whichever day you choose. I'm not picky. After your 2 week induction I'm sure you'll feel in control again. I love that feeling of being in control over food rather than it controlling me! You'll be able to go to Papa Vino's and impress your husband with how strong and determined you really are! lol But I agree, until you feel that control, I'd stay away!

                  • Re: Century Club - Springing Into Action!

I am thinking that I set my goal to high for this. I REALLY want to be in onederland by the spring though. Now I see that I am not even halfway there yet. I was pondering how very disappointed that I am going to be if I don't reach that. But, I am resolved to do the very best that I can to get there. If I come up short at least I will be a lot further along in this journey than when I started.

Hope everyone has a great day...

                    Tina

30 minutes of stretching and pushups/crunches over the last couple of days, no time for the gym because of a work project going nova on us.

Down 3 lbs for the week however! YIPPEE!
