  • Re: UK!

Baarb is right - make sure you check the actual list of ingredients as most British bangers have rusk and breadcrumbs added so would not be induction-legal!!

I buy bratwurst for everyday cheapo bangers, which should only contain meat and spices, and for special occasions I buy the Devon Rose brand of no-carb sausages. You can find out their distributors from their website at http://www.devonrose.com.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

That sounds great, the problem is that it is difficult to find everything you need in one place. I was at tescos last night, they don't even have turkey sausages. I will see if can find a local place to make me some carb free sausages Or the ones above.

        Hello all Uk Atkins members,

Could anyone suggest a good multivitamin or anything else that is Atkins friendly and will make me feel less worn out? (I'm vegetarian...).
I visited Holland & Barrett today, but everything I was told that was really good had sweeteners, maltodextril, and other not allowed ingredients.

        Many thanks,
        Zoe

Well long time no see,,,, but im back ,,,, and of course I wandered of the path and while I haven't gained everything back (thankfully) my joints have started aching again!!

I have just come back from holiday and my cupboards (thanks to my son) are empty and the freezer too! Not a carb in sight, so tomorrow is shopping day Atkins style.

BUT im missing one vital tool, I used to use a website that I could input the food I had consumed that day and it calculated the carbs I had consumed that day. My computer has since been wiped and I can't find the original site anywhere, does anyone know the website im referring to??

A speedy reply as always ,,, and yes it was Fitday I was looking for, ive just dusted off my account.
I stayed on induction for 6 weeks last time and will no doubt do the same again this time, we will see how it goes.

I have pre-warned my family that I am re-starting as I had some pretty nasty withdrawal symptoms from caffeine and all the additives. Fortunately not all the lessons I learnt last time, have fallen by the wayside, I still drink plenty of water and have never returned to drinking as much alcohol, or eating as much bread and pasta! And amazingly I never went back to my chocolate binging......

Many of our STACers 'report in' on a daily thread there to support and encourage each other and find it a great resource to keep on track.

Im taking comfort in the fact that Induction wont be so confusing this time around, I never lost my little laminated illegal/legal foods list from last time!!

                              It was **** on earth!!
Thankfully I am not bothered about getting dirty, but there is mud and then there is SERIOUS GLASTONBURY MUD!! It was so bad that we couldn't even be bothered to walk down to the bar!!! Even to walk from the car parks to the festival site took us 2hr2 instead of 30mins because of the welly sucking bogs you have to walk through.

We even came away on the Sunday evening, missing The Who as we just couldnt handle the thought of having to queque for 6-8hrs to get out of the carpark.

But,,,, I would go again,,, I would just take fishing waders next time!!

We are thinking of going to Benecasim in Spain next year instead!!

I think I'm too into my creature comforts for this experience! Sounds fun though

My sister, who was quite hippy-ish, used to go over or under the wall in the early 1990s impossible to do that now!
