      Went to my nephew's bday party and ate my own sncaks. I wasn't tempted by the pizza at all. Only round table's pizza can tempt me at this point.

      I also passed on the cake. I did however help cut and pass out the cake. A good amount got on my finger. When I was done..I simply washed off my finger and went about my way. That was a little tempting....but I made it.

        Marty, don't let the slip-up get you down. You are human!! You did very well considering you were out BS camping!! My nerves would have been so shot that I probably would have ordered the Breakfast Platter!! You're doing great! Chin up!!

        Sherri, what does zucchini taste like? Cucumbers? I found a recipe for zucchini and was just wondering if I'd find the taste appealing. I love cucumbers! I grew up in the country and my grandfather had a huge garden so growing up I ate fresh vegetables all the time (however, I have never tasted zucchini).

        Kassoria!! Way to go!!!! I'm so proud of you for not giving in to the cake!! It's hard! I find myself having to stop myself from picking food off my daughter's plate (that she doesn't finish). This morning I caught myself about to stick a fried potato in my mouth. Whoa! The things I used to do out of habit without even realizing.

          I made a spinach quiche today. I hope it tastes good. I'm getting a little tired of bacon and eggs and thought I'd have this for breakfast this week. I left out the onions (allergic to them) but used cheddar cheese instead of muenster cheese so I'm hoping it will even out. It has 4 gm carbs per serving. Here's a pic of the quiche I made.

              **head bow** I have a confession! I slipped up majorily and had chinese for dinner. I am mad at myself bc i did sooo good all day. Ate my tuna muffins for breakfast, lunch after church ds wanted KFC, so i ordered breast (pulled off the skin) and green beans and tossed the biscuit (which was soooooooo hard to do). Then went to movies w/Dh and only had a diet coke (no popcorn)..but we didnt get a chance to eat until later and Dh bought chinese (fried rice w/ sweet and sour chicken) I was SOOOOOOO hungry that i ate it and the eggroll.

              I thought for sure i'd see a 5pd gain but somehow i showed a loss of 1 pd but still it coulda been 2.

              On thing i've learned w/this WOE is plannin is everything, and that i prob eat out wayyyyy too much!

              BTW-Tyler Perry's new movie "Why did i get married" was wonderful. Had my laughing and yelling the whole time. Definelty a must see!

              Off to drink some water and eat my tuna muffins and bacon.....

                Hey Tasha! Keep going girl!! Don't let the slip-up deter you from your goals. You know what helps me? I buy my groceries on Sunday and cook everything then. This way I have no excuse because I always have food at hand. I make enough so that I have lunch and dinner prepared so I can just grab and reheat. I also keep snacks at hand (i.e, pepperoni, porkskin, carb conscious lunch meat, cheese snackables) so that in those times when I am famished (have been there) I can eat that to get my self back into a more reasonable frame of mind (because, let's face it, I can't think rationally when I'm hungry). Some meats that I cook and keep on hand (chicken, steak, pork chop, and hamburger). I will fix two salads the night before so that I can just grab and go. Also, Linda's website (www.genaw.com/lowcarb) has several quiches that you can prepare and freeze. I pretty much have my menu planned for the following day so I will know what to grab to take to work. I have a huge carry-all cooler that I pack my stuff in (including my vitamins). I also keep plenty of water in the trunk of my car so when I get to work, I just put in the refrigerator and grab as needed. I have a water cooler at home (a local company delivers the water). It's just about preparation (which is hard but worth it). DO NOT beat yourself up. Take a deep breath!! Chin up!! Keep going!

                    What a lazy day!!! It is cloudy here and raining off and on.... I have NO appetite today either, today is day 9. Still at 11 pounds.

                    Menu for today~
                    breakfast 7am- ham on a pc of swiss cheese
                    snack- heavy cream whipped with 1/2 tsp of splenda
                    lunch- 2 eggs over medium, 3 pc bacon.
                    snack- 1oz. cream cheese, 3 slices hard salami

                    NOTHING was good....eating because I thought I needed to or bored.

                    Dinner-will be- pork chops and some veggies.

                        Neck = 1/2 inch
                        Chest = 2 inches (believe me it needs it; I'm a 42F)
                        Waist = 3.75 inches
                        Stomach = 2 inches
                        Right Arm = 3/4 inch
                        Left Arm = 1/4 inch
                        Hips = 1/2 inch
                        Right Thigh = 1.5 inches
                        Left Thigh = 1.75 inches
                        Right Calf = 1/4 inch
                        Left Calf = 1/4 inch

                        Grand Total = 13.5 inches lost!!!

                          It's raining here on the west coast. A dark dreary day. It didn't keep me down. I went grocery shopping today. Love, love to go shopping. I joined the veggie challenge so I bought red bell peppers for that. I havn't ate them yet. Not for the three and a half years that I've been doing this woe. So I'd better try them. Today is day seven for me today. I didn't have much of an appetite today but I did manage to have three meals which were, Breakfast: turkey ham & cheddar cheese 3 egg omelet. Lunch: baked chicken leg, sliced cucumber. Dinner: meat loaf, fresh steamed brocolli, green salad w/ cucumber, black olives & ranch. DESERT: sugar free jello. I got about 80 oz water in today. SKALSKI- Hey, we're on the same day as each other.How empowering it is to resist temptation.I'm sending you that-a-girls and pats on the back. KATRINIA- Oh dear, you gotta try zuchinni. You'll love it! It's great in salads, you can actually make noodles out of it by using a good potatoe peeler. I have an excellent recipe for zuchinni bread made with ground flax and soy flour. It's totally awesome when you slice it, egg bath it and bread it in parmesian cheese and fried, oh my gosh. It's also great in soup. I would say that zuchinni is as universal in cooking as cauliflower is. When you try it and like it I'll send you the bread recipe your way. LESS-Z-MORE- You are so right about "PLANNING IS EVERYTHING". To be successful in anything we do in life takes planning. You'll be o.k. Just hop back on track and plan your meals. Make your food available so you don't set yourself up for pitfalls, Dr. Atkins writes about it in DANDR. Plan, plan, plan. I believe you can do this. You have the will and the know how. Just take one meal at a time. We're all here for ya! You are not alone. I have sabotoshed (sp) myself. Put it behind you and begin again. You can do this!

                            Cool Sherri, Us sharing the same day. Keep up the good work and the good recipes coming. I am on the west coast also (CA)....up north near SF, where are you located?

                            Hey catrina, you are sticking to it...good for you!!

                            I was also tempted today with cupcakes in my staff meeting, I was so hungry and wanted to taste that frosting soooo bad. I didn't give in. Sweets are my downfall and make me smile when I'm sad. That's bad I know, but I am a carbohydrate addict/ in recover LOL along with you all.

                                Hey everybody! i did bad again last night....
                                last night after work i had to pick up the kids, my oldest wasnt back yet (gpa picks him up from school, g-parents and uncle watches kids while we work) so i ran to sears to return a dvd/video camera my dh bought. Why was I in the store for 1 -1/2 hrs,and the lady was rude as ****! I know u gotta respect your elders, but this lady was so rude and not helpful at all, but she did constantly remind me that i got a "good deal, and if i didnt want the camera she'd' buy it" DH bought a $400 camera off the clerance rack for $70.00.. the only thing is its missing an adapter which the orginal salesperson said the store will order for us if we buy the 3 yr warranty. So to make a long story short, i had to ask for the manager, who basically told her to go ahead and order it even though she was acting like it was comin outta her pocket, but it wont get here until 10/22...my ds christening is 10/21 -the reason for the purchase. So Dh is gonna call and check on that today.

                                So they i go back and pick up the kids and my ODS hadnt done his homework (7:30 by now, bedtime is 8:30) and hungry and my youngest is screaming and attached to my hip (going thru separation anxiety). So i run the kids home, grab ODS a pizza, and i end up eating leftover Chinese food. BAD i know. .... DISASTER DAY 2!

                                Did i also add that DH is trully pizzin' me off right now i could scream!!! and ds has been up since 4am this morning, but as soon as i give him to his daddy at about 6:45 ghe falls right to sleep.

                                O.k soory for the long vent, i jsut had to let that out. I know these are all excuses but i am such an emotional eater, and trully gotta work on this.

                                O.k. today is a new day.. i guess i gotta do induction all over again ..one day i'll get it right! I just feel like i'mm a be big forever and that this cycle is never gonna end!
