Is Grapefruit Seed Extract legal on Atkins? If so, it will wipe out that yeast infection for the both of you almost instantly. You can get more info at www.pureliquidgold.com. I had strep 4 months straight and antibiotics would not help. I took this for 3 days and the strep was gone (finally had a negative strep test). I love how it knocks out everything. The only problem: very bitter. I had to mix in Hi-C orange and not too long ago Diet Coke to mask the taste. It's potent though and it works.

I am going to research this. Thank you!!

I bought a new scale. My other went bonkers and started giving me different weights in a matter of minutes - 204.5, 205.5, 206, and 209. This one is stable (even after 10 minutes). The downer: 207.2. Instead of the 205 the other showed over the weekend. Ugh!! However, this one falls in line with my Mom's (different brand) so I'm going to stick with this and go from there.
My scale is the ugliest thing in my home. I am afriad to buy a new one for that reason....seeing a higher weight. I pray that mine stays healthy...it's so old and decrepit. LOL

According to Dr. A it helps. When I ordered all those vitamins and supplements the other night, I ordered some. They were supposed to ship today. I hope they get here fast. It's hard to find supplements without dextrose, starch, corn starch, etc., even at GNC.

I purchased vitamins at my local health food store. They are relatively cheap compared to some prices on the net. They are called "NOW." I am going to buy some b5 tomorrow if I don't forget.

All of the products read: Contains no sugar, yeast, salt, startch, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, or preservatives.

          Hey Sherri,

I love the new ticker. Good job on the exercising and staying on plan. I have been on plan for the past two days and it feels good.

KASS- How was your $40 Crab. When you mentioned that you bought some. I was actually jealous because I thought about buying some even though ours is from our coast, it was still high for me to pay the price. Hope you had a taste for me. I love crab.

It was delicious and so worth it!!

Today was a lovely day. I got a lot of rest and I went to Curves. I worked my butt off at Curves and at home. I did 40 minutes on the circuit and 50 squats, 175 crunches, and 30 pushups. I am pooped....but I feel good.

8 degrees here! It's cold in this building too (work). I have a heating pad which is not helping at all. I made sure to put an extra blanket in the car this morning (you just never know). My little girl is dressed like an Eskimo.

Great workout Kassoria. I didn't workout yesterday (unless you count grocery shopping).

It makes me wonder though if my actual starting weight was 242. My Mom's has always been 2 pounds heavier than mine (so I chose to go with mine) during this process. It just now went bonkers over the past weekend. I might need to change my starting weight to 242 (yikes).

How is everyone's day going today?

So far I've had 3 turkey burgers. I know that sounds like alot but they were really small and I was going to have half for breakfast and part of them for lunch with something and I got stuck in meetings all day until 11:30! I was starved!

I know I'm in ketosis, dry mouth, not very hungry etc.... guess thats a good thing... lots of water...

                      Todays menu looks like:
                      B/L - turkey burgers
Snack if needed - tuna with mayo
Dinner - broccoli, tomato and cheese omelette
                      Lots of water!

I did squats, leg lifts and some arm exercises with weights last night while watching TV. Nothing that great, but it's something!

Caternia - your new scale has gone bonkers??? I'd say stick with your first scale starting weight... hopefully you won't have to switch scales for awhile now. I love my tanita!!!

Was .5 away from my day 7 goal but I'm ok with that. I feel thinner already throughout the day then I did this am so I'm sure it will be below 147 tomorrow. That water helps!!

LOL!! No, my old scale went bonkers which is why I had to get a new scale. The new scale falls in line with what my Mom's scale says. Are you getting in enough veggies? I know you're not hungry but during induction aren't you supposed to get 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of the other veggies? I'm not trying to be your mommy (just asking).

Hey Derby Girls.....baby, its C O L D outside....-9 this morning on the way to the barn. I've been running around for work all day. Just now taking a break to catch up on my . I did stop and pick up some new vitamins plus the L-Glutamine and L-Carnitine (thank you Sunny!).

I'm still *on plan* since my re-start date and my exercise total for the last 7 days is 146 minutes - so I'm meeting my initial goal. Once I hit my mini goal day (1/10) I'll go to the next step of my exercise goal. I admit that although its a bit easier now, I am having some pain issues. I see the chiro next week so...

Oh, btw, Cat, Fitday lists grocery shopping as an activity! Just sayin'

Sounds like everyone is really on track although I didn't see a post from Sunny today? Hope she's managing.

I am pooped but need to make dinner: marinated grilled chicken breasts (extra for lunches) and a Spring Mix Salad...and maybe a faux Irish coffee (DaVinci syrup, decaf and SF whipped cream)

draggin' my butt to the stove....
