Kass, Girl, I bought that crab today and it's all gone. Between Sierra and I, we went through a 2 pound dungeness crab in nothing flat, LOL! So gooood! I got it for $4.29 a pound, is that a good price? What was yours going for down your way? The girls are right. They're going to hose that circuit down when you get done with it. You go girl!
Sherry....It was a ridiculous $7.49 a lb. But is was worth it.

Jersey..hope all is well with your testing. We are all praying for you!

Tracy..I'm sure your journal will keep you accountable. You are doing very well.

Catrina....Mc Hammer huh? Do your dance girl and become famous! Boy did I love his dancing. Did you have a pair of the 357 shoes...the patent leather shoes. That was big out here since Oakland is a couple of cities over. LOL I was talking to my aid today, we were reading a gossip magazine, there was a pic of the guy who played in Mc Hammer's life story. I said to her "remember how famous MH....was"? She said " I was just a baby then." I felt so old!

Sunny....I hope you had a great Bday!

Bekka...was it stressful working at the bakery?

Marty....how did you brave the storm?

Hey Glenda....I know you are having a great time with your daughter. Do you guys exercise together/take walks?

        Sweets...you are so MIA!!!

Leave for 27 hours and you guys goes nuts with the writting.

Sherri: The mountains got hit pretty good with snow, but in the Denver area not anything to speak of. Getting my jeep out is never a problem for me which is a good thing as I am considered essential personnal during snow. The last few years I've slept at work and have been a short order cook for those of us there several times. Pays good though, no complaints.

Sunny: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! Thank your lucky stars you can't hear me sing. I got over and checked in with Jimmie. I'm dead after 20 mins. and you did 85.... Sorry... Away from home all night. I am glad to hear you're feeling better today. BTW, never admit you are jamming with Muszac in Big Lots.... We ain't that old yet...

Glenda: I am SOOOOO happy that your daughter's back where she belongs. I know that you are absoluetly thrilled. I can hear it too in your writting.

Catherine: Pls keep us updated on what's up. You are NEVER alone here.

Tracey: I've been playing this game with TOM since I was 37... My mom actually has a hystorectomy at 60.. Since I'm only 43 I don't want to deal with this until 60.... Hey.. I know you have probably said time and time again, but as you know, I was MIA for a while or and I just don't remember where you hang your hat at night!!!

Cat: I WANT to see that utube!!! please please please . That really made me laugh off a pound or two thinking about that..

Well.. guess I'd better get ready for bed... Too bad nobody is around my area as my Boy Scouts are going to be on the local public channel. Not much but we were invited by the mayor to do the flag ceremony for the swering in at the city council... Like I said not much but I am really proud of my guys. I went from having 2 ds to having 14 !!!!

Hey, we need a Derby girls song, sung to the tune of "Run For the Roses," which so applies to all of us.

And it's run for the roses
                As fast as you can
                Your fate is delivered
                Your moment's at hand
It's the chance of a lifetime
                In a lifetime of chance
And it's high time you joined
                In the dance
                It's high time you joined
                In the dance –

Morning All ~ no surgeon call yet.

                    Long story short(er).

In late 2001 I was hit from behind by an 18wheeler on the Insterstate. Car launched into the air, came back down to the road and the truck was gonna hit me again and finish the job so a Voice (y'all know who) told me to turn off the road into the dark unknown. Did it and went rocketing through fields but finally able to stop but not turn off the car. And I was trapped (no cell phone then) and the trucker did not come to help me or call the police. I waited covered in glass not knowing that the back of my car was gone. After :20 a good samaritan found me and called rescue. I was taken to a tiny hospital and got poor care. Then there was a year of drugs and crappier care and lawyers. I was lucky to only have blown disks in my back and I was black/blue/green/purple for a few months. My mother was terminally ill and I had to work so I just kept going.

Anyway, last year, I got a 'rash' on my neck and convinced myself with much prompting by friends and DH that it was * old age spots*. I hadn't seen my dr. in a year and when I went in yesterday she gasped and said "what is on your neck". She believes I have a blood clot in my left carotid. Wants $$$$$ tests, surgery etc. She suspects that I suffered neck damage/tissue damage that went un diagnosed from the car wreck; that it has worsened over time. So, I'm waiting to be told when my appt for the vascular surgeon is.

I'll gratefully accept any good thoughts and support.....gonna take it easy today since Dr. scared the whosit out of me....could all be wrong, right?

Oh, Catrenia, the fool didn't leave the scene...he told the county deputy (no state trooper came) that I pulled in front of him. I didn't but the whole thing degenerated into a legal battle. I finally dropped the lawsuit because I was sick and exhausted and my mother was dying. I have tried to let it go but I do harbor a lot of anger and resentment over the whole fiasco. Thanks for your special prayers that my supposed condition is over stated....maybe its just old age spots...

I didn't but the whole thing degenerated into a legal battle. I finally dropped the lawsuit because I was sick and exhausted and my mother was dying. Thanks for your special prayers that my supposed condition is over stated....maybe its just old age spots...
I hope you take some comfort in knowing that God sees all and that this person has not gotten away with anything (despite how it might appear in this world). However, I do understand your anger. My back would not be messed up right now if I had not been rear-ended 4 times at 4 different stop-lights.
