    Hi All,

Great job on the walking Cat. I did well today, I did have some low carb ice cream since I am now on the dairy rung now. Boy was it good.

    Have a Happy Sunday!

Hey my DGs. I'm down 1/2 pound this week. This week I'm going to try to better "balance" my carbs. I'm going to try to eat from each of the rungs (of the ones I'm not allergic to). After these challenges are over (Easter weekend) I'm going to try to truly find my CCLL.

I hope you're all having a great day. I'm off to scrub down my bathrooms.

          Hi Ladies,

Congrats Cat on the 1/2lb.......it all adds up.

I am up 2lbs this week. I added ricotta cheese and that's all she wrote. Hopefully I'll see better results next week.

          Have a great day ladies!

LOL LOL LOL I read that twice, wrong both times! I put the 'the' after 'walking' and was trying to imagine someone successfully having control of a (feline) cat and actually walking it. Dogs, you can walk. Cats, not a chance!

However, I can't eat the meat until the next day due to rememberance of what it looked like raw....which is why I cook everything in advance.
I am this way as well, and I grew up on a farm. My mom had a weak stomach, so we never had to eat the really yucky stuff. I have learned to eat and enjoy meat much more since starting Atkins. I still can't touch it raw, so my brother supplies me with the vinyl food handling gloves. If I had to actually touch raw poultry, I would never be able to eat it again. For years, in order to be able to eat beef, I had to force out of my mind what it used to be. Strangely, I can eat steak almost bloody rare, but can't touch it with my hands/fingers to prepare it for the grill.

I can't stand to touch anything yucky or have my hands dirty. I would really rather not eat 'finger foods'. I have to have a bunch of napkins if I do. As much as I love gardening, I have to wear gloves or wash my hands every three minutes. Even my kids made fun of me when we were planting garden.

Good afternoon ladies. I just thought I would stop in and say hi. I have been really battling this past week but I have not nor will I give up. I am bloated, pre-TOM and can feel it. Overall I am ok and congrats to all of you who are on track. I can't try to address everyone individually right now.

Next week will be better. Catch you all later.

My word! Did you walk that all in one session? I bet you burned a bunch of calories!

It's pretty today, but since I was at church for much of the day, I'm not going to walk. It's supposed to be sunny and 68° tomorrow, so I will walk, but slowly to make the doc happy. It has been so cold and windy here for the whole month of February, but March usually has some really pretty days.

Daylight Savings Time starts next weekend! It will soon be staying light a lot later. That is always a boost to my spirits when the days start getting longer and it's not dark before dinner time.

                  Sunny!

                    Good evening Derby Girls!

I've posted some pictures of my new haircut in my journal. For some reason when I resized the pics in Photobucket they still posted as big pictures. Not sure why & remember I'm computer challenged. So you can go to my journal if you want to see.

There is a link to my journal in my siggy. Pictures on page 58 post # 578.

I went. I saw! Fabulous haircut! I love the color. BTW--just refresh the screen after you resize in Photobucket and they won't look huge on your screen.
