    Hellooooo Derby Girls~~

Whew, what a nasty week its been but I'm on the upside finally. Losing my dog, Poor Bob, last week really hit me. No cheating or carbage stories though...just really bummed out. Work has been a...well...you know....Struggling with the apparent fact that SOME people think that billing for services THEY say they DID NOT perform is somehow OK....huh, what? And when challenged they INSIST they aren't responsible or accountable
Weather wise we are warming up by tiny increments - still snow and glacial ice...and flooding...the river is way over its banks and some roads out here (including Interstate 80) were closed and impassable....what gives?
Last but not least...DH is sick sick sick...nothing worse than a sick man...sigh.

On the up side, Mr. Scale has released another measly lb but I'm not changing my ticker...hoping for a little more. I'm still only showing lb. loss one week a month...But I'm on plan with my food, my water and .....I joined a woman's gym today! Similar to Curves with a circuit but NO membership fee, NO contract...just month to month payment of...only $30.00. Surely I'm worth a buck a day? It is still 40 miles roundtrip but I just gotta do it. Today was Day 1 and I've committed to 3x per week but am shooting for 5 days over the next 30. Oh, and I got measured ...nope, not posting them...we'll see in a month. Still doing my treadmill but I feel like my metabolism needs a jump start.

I quickly read back through (pages) of posts:

Sunny - hoping your incision is healing better...scary...btw, I did get rid of 5 dozen eggs last week on freecycle!
Cat and Kass - girls, you are burning up the exercise floor!
Lisa - how frustrating to be displaced....I'm hoping you're home soon
Marty - working too hard girl
Sherri - how fabulous are YOU!!!
Glenda - here's to Happy Lights and Spring!
LaShon - you are hanging in there even when stuff is tuff...good for you
Liz - how many days til the cruise??!!
Tracy - where ARE you? buried in wedding plans?

I know I'm missing some of you: Prya, Sher, Becca, Dorothy (I better PM you), God's Beloved, Mary, Kathy...the Chippendales are warming up

    happy hump day everyone

Good afternoon, Derby Girls. There's good news and bad news. The good news first: It's my second day on the strict yeast-free diet and I have severe yeast-die-off. The bad news? It's my second day on the strict yeast-free diet and I have severe yeast-die-off. I don't know how I am going to choir practice tonight sick as a dog on my tummy with many trips to the little girls room.

The least my little sister, Lisa, could do is suffer with me! Having a tree fall on your house is not a believable excuse for not doing the yeast-free diet! Even if my arm rots and falls off, I'm not taking antibiotics ever again. Or eating bleu cheese dressing.

People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

Good evening my Derby Sisters. How is everyone this evening? I am blessed.

Today was a good day as far as my eating. I stayed on plan inspite of the fact my sinuses were bothering me. I am finishing up my water now and did light exercises. I plan on getting in the bed early tonight and RESTING.

I am almost in that suit I told you ladies about, the only thing that's stopping me are my breasts. Speaking of which, I am going to another doctor to get a consultation on Monday. He recently did one of the lady's reduction on our dance ministry team and she looks great. When I get the surgery, I want the doctor to suck the bra overhang out too. I HATE IT. I have major overhang and I get tired of trying to adjust my bra over it. Lord it's going to be so good, liberating, NOT to have to worry about these big heavy breasts causing my bra to dig in my shoulders and hurting my neck/back. I was sitting on the sofa last night and they felt so heavy. I lifted just one of them up and it was a MAJOR weight lifted. Sorry I don't mean to sound vulgar or ungrateful for my breasts but unless you have carried 42DD around, you can't imagine the weight, especially if gravity has gotten a hold of them.....lol

I hope everyone has a blessed evening.

DD cup? How divine that would be. I would like to be able to buy a bra in a store instead of having to order them online. I just brought some breast cream that is supposed to help tighten things up. It's not here yet. With Atkins I've gone from a whole 42F to a 40F... Whoever said boobs are just fatty tissue lied.

Hey Ladies, Just checking in. Sorry I haven't been around much this week. It's been crazy at work. I've been pulling some late nights... I hate paperwork! And to top it off I am feeling quite sick. A nasty sore throat and just overall achiness. Ugh, make it go away.

I hear ya Lashon, I'm a 46DD. It'll be nice when they start to shrink with the rest of my body. And thanks for sharing the eye candy! lol He's HOT!

Jersey, congrats on the gym membership. I've heard great things about Curves, so if yours is anything like it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Have fun.

Liz, I hope you feel better. I took a round of antibiotics for strep and it did nothing. The strep totally scoffed at the antibiotic. Therefore, I took matters into my own hands. I've been downing grapefruit seed extract (quite nasty and bitter but potent). Sore throat is now gone after only 3 days of GSE (www.pureliquidgold.com). The GSE breaks down the germs - destroys it one layer at a time. Strep didn't stand a chance. I should have just did this to start with. Last year I had strep 4 months in a row and after several rounds of antibiotics bought this. It was gone within a week. I prefer natural over man-made whenever possible.

Hi my derby sisters!!! Just checking in again, at the library lol. I miss my computer so much, i think i miss it more than my house lol, no really it is rough living in a one room hotel with two kids, im about to go crazy, been really depressed here lately.

Sunny- im sorry your fighting the yeasties, i was just reading the yeast connection this morning, i have all the tools in front of me, i was thinking of trying to start this weekend some way somehow, its really hard living in a room with no oven.

Lashon- you are wrong for putting some sexy man on here for me to drool over lol, im just playing but he is fine girl.

Liz- I hope you feel better soon, it is rough having a sore throat, if it is not gone soon, go get it checked, it could be strep.

To all my other sisters, i hope you all are having a great week. Hopefully we will be back in our house, come early part of next week, i cannot tell you why its taking as long as it is, but im frustrated with it. Our landlord told us not to worry about march's rent, you think lol, it is costing us a fortune with hotel cost, which he will turn it all over to the insurance and get the money for it so he will get it back anyways. Well i just wanted to check in with you all and let you know i miss you all like crazy. I will check in later on, if i get access to a computer, i got to go to a friends house later to do some work so i will be on her computer then. See that is the other thing i work off my computer and this has informed me i really need to invest in a laptop. Ok i will talk to you all later!!!!
