I'm trying these this weekend - they sound great!

We also eat chicken drumsticks alot. I make my own rubs, just grab spices, marinate for a couple of hours [or better overnight] - then put on grill - or broil. They are just nummy!

thanks guys!! I love the recipes. I'm definetly gonna try these. I love chicken but there are only so many grilled chicken salads I can eat - guess whats for lunch?? give up - yep, grilled chicken salad!! I do like them but I just needed something different and these recipes look great. I'm a huge fan of the crock pot so I'm going to look for some new recipes for chicken in there. Love to put it on before work and when I get home its done and ready to go. Thanks again for all your great responses!!

diamonds - do you like pork? I put some boneless pork ends in the crock this morning, just seasoned with garlic and seasoning salt. Will leave on low all day, then probably put under the broiler tonight.

OK Nigella Lemon Garlic chicken has been deemed legal if made without wine and lifted from the pan. I am so excited I could... eat a whole chicken!

Wine substitute: I'm thinking 1/2 cup stock and a Tbsp vinegar? Any thoughts?

Ooooo, recipes, yay! Love the recipes! Will have to write those out. Getting tired of the same thing every every day.

Oh, another pound down today!!! Thats 2 pounds in two days. Gotta remember, gotta keep reminding myself that my week long stalls are to prepare my body for quick pound dumping later on.

Today I'm doing some massive work on my teas and herbal products, and working out at the gym tonight. Woohoo! Gotta pick up some chicken to make dinner tonight.

Diamons, congrats on the great weight loss! Keep it up!!!! yay!!!!

I'm just chuckling, since I'm sitting here enjoying a grilled chicken salad

I normally bring leftovers from the previous nights dinner, that way, I have variety!

wait... you work from home and aren't eating chicken salads by the dozen?? I'm doing something wrong here... I'd love to work from home! course I know I'd cheat if I was home all day. I always have some type of good stuff in the house for the kids so if I was there alllll day I'd either cheat or go insane trying not to.

You know, I actually eat virtually no salad. We eat a lot of mushrooms and bok choy off that list and tend to eat the majority of our veggies at dinner. I do have half a cup if I'm having chicken salad though!

I also solved the problem of tempting treats for children by not having any

Anyway, I Atkins-up that chicken recipe and posted it here. It is kitchen tried and tested and in my tummy!

And just to whine for a minute: I HAVE HORRIBLE PMS AND COULD MURDER A SNICKERS BAR. *sob*

When do I get to chocolate and what can I have right now?

I'm 50, stopped PMSing a long time ago. Not that big into sweets, but when I do crave sweet, I either make berries/cream [wrong in induction ] - or try new things off lindas site, she has some pretty good sweet treats.

Intersting. I now consume so little sugar, that craving was killed with a cup of tea - one teaspoon of Splenda, one wedge of lemon.

Err, a month ago that would have taken a Snickers. Or two...
