I haven't tried that pizza recipe yet - love the cauliflower crust one and the other one on linda site - I've made it often, and now prefer it...
Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes
    Can't wait to try yours.

About sweets, it's just so weird, we don't crave anymore. I made pork rib ends in the crock tonight, and told my husband I didn't want to add bbq sauce - last time I had it, I didn't like it...I used to LOVE bbq sauce. So instead, we had mashed cauliflower and just put the pulled pork on top...it was so good, we were both raving [and surprised]. It wasn't very pretty - not much color - but it was really good!

Good golly Miss Molly, I think my husband might actually eat that pizza!

Also: Yesterday morning I had gained a bit. (Notice how I did not freak out - long road and all that. I get a cookie, which I obviously cannot eat.) This morning: 184.8, baby!

my husband loves the deep dish pizza - and he's a big traditional pizza guy. It has so much flavor. I'm definitely going to try the portabella one this weekend!

congrats bri - calm and cool!

Morning everyone... the pizza sounds great, I'm already hungry for it. cookies are my downfall too so if anyone has a recipe for really good chocolate cookies that are sugar and carb free I'd love to have it.

i'm a chocolate freak too - i just walk around the house asking everyone if they have brownies?? I use the Atkins bars for this weakness. Varying opinions on these, but I do have them now and again. The craving has definitely diminished, which is cool.

Just popping in to say I am officially in love with my butcher.

There is not one item in that shop we cannot eat. He makes chicken wings with olive oil, garlic and Herbes de Povence. He grinds only lean beef. He makes lamb burgers with no fillers. He makes his own spicy lamb sausage with no sauce, no fillers and no sugar.

He doesn't do pork (it's a halal butchers) but I don't care. We ate so many pork sausages while we were busy getting fat that I don't miss them at all and I am really enjoying cooking and eating all these other options.

PS: CRAP. I asked Mr Bri to "cut those mushrooms" and he did the whole pack instead of reading my mind. I didn't notice until I was eating dinner and couldn't finish that it seemed like quite a lot. I think it was about an extra half cup each (125g instead of 72g), although I didn't finish mine

PPS: What a weird diet when you're all stressed out about an extra quarter cup mushrooms...

So, how is everyone doing? I did pretty well, but didn't weigh today, since out of town. I haven't done any of my exercise yet, my son is home from college and waiting for him to leave...then will need to do my squats/abs and get on my WiiFit.

I did hit my low [231] on Saturday morning, very excited, hopefully it will get to 230 by thursday wiegh in - I would be very excited.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Wow, that is really a benchmark you've hit there, congratulations! I'm so happy for you

Debber, you'll unstall - you will.

Guys, I got on the scale this morning and I suddenly weigh more than I did when I started. Given that I walked all over yesterday and ate fewer calories than I have since I started, I don't even understand how that is possible, especially since I was retaining water and now I'm not.

I'm kind of sad. I don't mind not losing a rapid clip, or holding steady even, but Up is not OK. Up is not down. Up is not an improvement. Up does not make me feel good. Up is not acceptable.

I'll sit on it (ha!) until tomorrow but... blergh.

Possibly it's related to lack of sleep. As in, it's 9 AM and I have not actually been to bed yet... maybe that's it?

thanks bri - I really **'d up over the summer, just got lazy. This site helped me get back on track and I know I will hit my 230 mini goal this week!

Don't be sad - do you journal? Drink all your water? Follow all the rules?

I had a crappy weekend. I need to get back on ASAP!!! I didn't get weighed today but I normally only do it on Thursdays so I will be extra good this week until I get weighed and see if I can salvage any of this. So mad at myself but if I get right back on again I should be ok

Congrats on hitting the 120s Debber, that is GREAT!

I don't know about you but I retain enough water before and during my period to raise the Titanic. I can't imagine that it wouldn't change the scales.

Since we're talking about body fluids, I peed on a Ketistix and it was so dark it was almost black!
