    Dont beat yourself up!!! You cheated......theres a fresh start tomorrow. You had your splurge and you felt what it did to you...now learn from it and TRY your hardest not to make that boo-boo again! You can do it!!

    My dinner is in the oven.... two chicken breast with bone & skin. salad ofcourse...some cheese probably. we shall see.

        OH IM sorry for another post, but I was about to head out to get some ibuprofren for this mad induction-flu like headache I have...and the battery is dead!! Ughhh... this headache blooooows. ( Someone tell me this won't last LONG!!

          Failed Today. At the last minute I went to a friends house for just a few minutes. Walked out after eating 2 pieces of pumpking pie and a piece of Pecan pie with lots of whipped cream. The urge started after I had a small handful of Macadamia Nuts there. THey were low in carbs (4 grams per 1/4 cup) but they took me straight over the cliff and Atkins recomends them for some, but I must not be in that category. Damn, I am so frustrated. I am glad that most of you are doing so well today, in fact I am proud of you. I am really disapointed in myself though and I am sorry I let you guys down.

            This is a tough time of the year for everybody, and we still got christmas to get through... but i just want to encourage everybody, even saying this to myself, to keep on keeping on...Ive been getting on the scale, I know i shouldnt, and its showing me at 220, i dont know what could be making me gain weight. But im not giving up, and neither should any of you....Like someone said tommorrow is a new day. IM very thankful for each of you that have encouraged me and gave me a reason to move on, i hope that i can do the same for you

              Hi everyone...Just wanted to check in and see how you're all doing!!!

              Don't be sorry that u cheated...We've all been there...Just pick urself up and try again!!! You know what's weird? After I cheated the other day, I didn't even enjoy what I was eating and woke up the next day craving eggs.... ... Has anyone else felt that?

              DON'T GIVE UP...YOU WANT THIS ...SOOOO BAD!!!

                Hey you guys!!

                Its okay if you guys cheated. I am not going to think of you any less because of it. I think you guys did a great job to admitting defeat and letting us know. Thats what we are here for, to encourage each other and support each other through the toughest of times. Tomorrow is a new day and I am sure that you will pick yourself up and get back to being where you were before. Just dont let this little thing discourage you. It must have been hard because both your cheats were due to peer pressure and thats the worst kind of pressure anyone can get themselves into because then you will end up doing what your friends tell you. -hugs- I'm here for you guys, if you need anything at all!!!

                As for me, I had my turkey and my salad along with it. Boy, was it delicious. For dessert, I had a sugar free jello cup and some whipped creame. I also had the tiniest slither that you can think of, of the lowcarb pumpkin cheesecake that my mom made. It was yummy. I'm about to brush my teet and make sure I don't eat anything else tonight.

                I'm still bloated. I hate the feeling of bloatiness. I wish it could just start already. Why does it have to be so evil.

                Oh well! I made it to 5 days!! I'm so excited. ^_^

                You guys rock!! Keep up the good work.

                  Future - You can't have nuts until rung 3 in OWL even if they are low in carbs. I have made this mistake a lot (with peanut butter which I love) which always seemed to add to cheats in the past. Sine starting in Sept I haven't had any peanut butter and it is much easier to control my cravings.

                    Blue, I knew the nuts were a no-no but I thought what could a few nuts hurt? I was sure wrong about that because as soon as I started eating them I felt that old feeling and I knew I was in trouble instantly. The killer part is I that I fought the urge for about another 30 minutes even though it was growing larger and larger by the minute. I went and got the plate of pies and sat down while everyone was watching a movie. I stared at my plate and all I could think about was run!! Don't do it, but I did and once that first bite went down there was no looking back. That is the part that kills me though. Why can't I stop at one bite, come to my senses and throw the stupid plate away? It really is not that difficult of a process but yet it seemed so impossible at the time. Your right Bekka, I did succumb to the (you have got to try my Pecan Pie it is the best I have ever made!) I am sure we have all been bit in the arse by that one. Thanks for the support everyone, tomorrow is day #1 cheat free. My goal before was to never cheat again. My goal this time is to make a week.

                    Richard, you are right that God gives us the ability to make the choice and we do have the power to push away temptation. I believe it and I know it because I felt that reaction tonight from deep within. I think I will try and rely on prayer nexttime when the moment comes. But for now....

                      Future, I can completely understand. I have been there! I think what really helps keep away the desire to cheat is experiencing real success. The longer I stay on plan without cheating the faster and more weight I lose which motivates me even more to stay on plan. As long as you're committed to getting right back to eating on plan you'll do great.

                        Hey you guys!! Goodmorning goodmorning!! =) I feel so so so much better and I didn't even sleep until the time I wanted to. I couldn't even get back to sleep. It's okay though, I might end up taking a nap in a few hours anyway, just to catch up on lost sleep because of the last 11 days of no freedom.

                        How are you guys doing today? I hope you've picked up where you left off and got back into gear. I know you guys can do it!!! =) Muahz! Lots of love from me! Keep up the great work.

                          Hey again....

                          Well I just finished my breakfast....weird to say that because usually I'm not a breakfast eater!! I had two eggs and some salad...weird breakfast but it went down good and it was delicious! Im still feeling quite satisfied on this diet. I find as long as I have food in the house that I'm supposed to be eating its easy. When I go grocery shopping etc... Im planning on taking some snacks in my kids diaper bag or something! Because I know I'll get major cravings and being around fast food joints and stuff!!! oooh fast food is like my cocaine haha....
                          So Im going to pack some celery with cream cheese or something! I dont know but I'm just trying to think ahead.

                          For those of you who cheated....DON'T let it discourage you. I know how hard it is to throw in the towel after a cheat and continue on that bad path, but remember...follow the plan and it will work!! Jump right back on the bandwagon!!! Be proud that you had the courage to let us know about your slip-up, hey you're human we all are. ((hugs))

                          Well I had better get off my butt and work on these dishes... I swear I can't even see any counter space right now! I had to prepare my salad on the deep freeze this morning haha....

                            lifetastebetter, you don't look like you need to lose any weight. You are right, that is what i love about atkins, with exception of some things as long as you eat you are pretty satisfied. I don't know if anyone else noticed. But I feel like my self again. just the little bit that i did lose. It feels good. I feel dispondent when i eat the wrong thing and everything negative. well I have one more week before I see my cholesterol diet. He wants to put me on meds so bad. but I begged him to let me work this out on diet and excersie.

                            I have to confess except for the crunches ... i have not really excercised. So I am going to add 30min challenge to my abs challeng just for me. It helps just being accountable even to the board. Thanks for listening and for not kicking me out for cheating.

                              Well, so far so good today. I got to sleep in and am feeling pretty good except...I am having an after carb binge headache. It is amazing how violent your body reacts to sugar when it is not used to it. I wish the USDA would treat Sugar much like Cocain and get rid of it. The thought of seeing a BATF agent taking out a knife and cutting open 100 # bags of sugar while it runs on the floor is something that makes me oddly happy.

                              I hope everyone is having a good day. By Sunday I should be back in the full swing of things with solid Ketosis.

                                Yea future, sugar is BAD.. but hey, everybody needs it once in awhile.

                                Although cheating on your diet is not right, there is no shame there.. It is a tough game, and it is OK as long as it makes you realize that it was not the answer to the temptations you had.



                                For me, as I have posted earlier, I invited everybody so that they abide with my rules rather than being invited and get all this kind of nice food and loose it..



                                I guess this worked fine with me. I have to mention though that almost everybody came brought something.. So, we still ended up with Ice cream Oreo Pie, pumpkin pie, Cheese cake, pecan pie and baklava. Was no easy to resist all that, but was not tough too. I was sooo determined not to touch.



                                I am really happy that I didn’t. So, phewww, t-day passed with no cheat for me.
